CHAPTER
ONE
I walked downstairs quite early in the morning and thought "Why do mondays always have to be so boring." to myself. I popped a bagel out of the wrapper and shoved it in the toaster.
"Mother, did you take your pill?" I asked.
"Yes, Jay i did."
"Are you sure?"
"Quite positive Jay"
"Don't forget to take it at 7.00 tonight, I won't be here so I'm really putting all my trust into you." My mother has "problems" I take care of her and make sure that shes ok, and for the most part its pretty easy. But it can be annoying as hell. DING. I grabbed my bagel, put on a coat and prepared myself for a cold greeting from winter. I opened up the door and slipped into the snowy white morning. I reviewed my agenda silently in my head, school, Janes house, band practice, sleepover with Graham at Janes house. "Oh crap i forgot to get groceries for my mother!" oh well, i'll just have to call Jane and tell her that i'll be a bit late this afternoon. I made my way down to the bus stop and saw my friend Graham doing a handstand for no apparent reason. "Graham, what the hell are you doing." I asked him "I don't really know but its making' my day happy!" Graham can be a tad bit weird at times but I think that he just wants to seize the day...or carpe diem. The bus arrives so Graham and I get onboard and let it take us to a horrid place called school.
