Humahangos siyang dumating sa Student Council Office nila. Nagpatawag kasi ng meeting ang tumatayong adviser at over all in charged ng grupo.
Buti na lang di pa nag sisimula pero andun na ang lahat.
"Oh there you go Mark is here" sabi ni Ms Buenavista.
"Sorry I'm late"paumanhin niya.
"Oh no, you're just on time" tugon nito.
Sulit ang pag takbo niya kahit hiningal siya.
"Okay guys! The reason why I call for a meeting today is in preparation for the upcoming founding anniversary of our school. Now I want you to come up with a new concept on how we can make this more exciting and memorable."
Nagtinginan ang lahat, siya naman nabahala naku trabaho nanaman ito sa isip isip niya lang.
"So ma'am we still keep the tradition activities that we have like the pageant contest right?" tanong ni Brenda.
" Of course! We will just keep it more exciting this time"paglilinaw nito.
" Okay this time we will have a survey from each student from sophomore to senior level. They are required to vote 1 male and 1 female representative on their designated level. We will get the the top 3 for each level who would compete on the preliminary round we will pick the judges so there will be no bias decisions, And from there we will choose the representative of each level who would compete in the final round which is the pageant night . Isn't that exciting?" Bahagya pa kinikilig si ma'am sa sinabi nito.
"Yeah I think so, kaya lang pano yon ma'am kung sa top 3 na lumabas sa survey eh may KJ ayaw sumili what would happened? Si Carl yon
"If that's the case they would have a lesser chances of winning the title but of course we will still follow the next in line the top 4 will take over. Pero do you think papayag ang mga adviser ng mga iyon!" Paliwanag nito uli.
Matapos ipaliwanag iba pa detalye ng mga activities nila next month isa isa na nito sinabi mga role nila.
"Marvin you will be the over all in charged of the pageant together with Mark" pagpapatuloy nito.
Bahagya mang nagulat sa sinabi ni Ms Villaruel wala na siyang panahon para kumontra dahil tuloy tuloy ito sa pag salita.
Hindi niya tinapunan man lang ng tingin si Marvin dahil nakatalikod siya dito. Bahala na sa isip isip niya lang.
Noong matapos na meeting nila at magpapaalam na si Ms Villaruel hinabol niya ito sa labas. Kinausap niya ito at balak nakipag palit ng role. Sinabihan naman siyang kausapin na lang daw ang ibang members ng team kung sino gusto makipag palit.
Naisip niya si Brenda agad kaya lumapit siya dito.
"Brenda can I talk to you for a minute?"
"Sure "
"Is it okay kung nakipag palit ako sayo ng role, pageants is not really my thing and besides ayoko makasama all the time si Sir" alam nito tinutukoy niya.
" Isnt it the perfect time para magkabati na kayo"
"I'm just worried na mas lalo lang kami magkaka ilangan and worst baka lalo pa magalit yon sa akin"
"Sorry friend, pero try mo na nakipag usap na lang ng civil sa kanya I know naman na may pinagsamahan kayo dati malay mo through this magkasundo na uli kayo."
Hindi na siya umimik kasi bigla nakita niya papalapit na si Marvin.
"Need help?" tanging sambit nito hindi niya alam para kanina ang tanong na yon kasi palipat lipat ang tingin nito sa kanilang dalawa ni Brenda.
