                                                                          Chapter Four

Rosa filled her lungs with air and let out a howl. The packs had a special set of howls to let each other know about important things such as emergency gatherings as well as if they needed help. Rosa twitched her ears and heard hundreds of calls back to her signal, she nodded at Halo and the two took off running toward the meeting location. Rosa slowed as she watched the packs go into their spots. The leaders then went in the middle of the crowd and sat, all of the wolves' eyes focused on Rosa and Halo. The two settled in front of the great leaders, their heads held high. "So," mumbled the Crimson Packs' Alpha male, "You bring us here because you saw a vision of humans coming?" The alpha said, he didn't seem amused with the problem but he didn't seem to think it was something to push aside. Rosa nodded, "My dreams become realities, Ive been sent a vision that never happened." Rosa added in, "Well, if you are so sure about this, I want to see this destruction Halo saw," grumbled the leader, Rosa nodded and sat up. Rosa let Halo take the lead as the packs tracked behind them. Halo broke into a run and soon came to a screeching stop. Halo's eyes looked over the crowd, before the wolf's eyes disappeared, she walked into the Southern Territory, guiding them to it. Rosa perked her ears, hearing a cry for help, she darted passed Halo. Halo and the rest of the wolves sprang into a run, following Rosa. Rosa then saw a yearling wolf stuck in a human trap.

The yearling scrambled around trying desperately to get free, "Calm down young one. You're safe now," Rosa uttered.Rosa pulled the ropes with her teeth then, she heard the snap as the young wolf crawled out. The young wolf was gorgeous, her pelt was whiter than snow, the solid white pelt made her stand out from the packs. Her beautiful green, blue eyes twinkled in the dim sunlight. "I'm Aurora," the white wolf smiled. The Crimsons' pack leader didn't seem so amused that she was talking with Rosa, he cut through their conversation and when back to the main problem. "Alright, if this is a serious problem, you will travel to four different areas, to gather the four biggest packs of that certain state." he said firmly, "You need to go to the Sonora Desert to retrieve the Emerald Pack. Then you will take the pack back here. As you go by Montana you will drop of the Emerald Pack and head for Alaska where you will find the Blizzard Pack. You will head back to Canada on the way  back and pick up the Willow Pack. Then you will drop them off here and then go to North Carolina to pick up the relatives of the Crimson Pack, the Garnet Pack then we will fight, together." The wolf stated proudly, Rosa's ears twitched she heard a sharp crack and peered out into the forest, the humans  had arrived. The alpha male turned his head to see this and he glared slightly and turned to his pack, "Slate!" he snapped. The wolf appeared soon after. Slate was a strong wolf, it was pretty obvious from his build, he was also a proud wolf which you could tell from the way he carried himself. Rosa mimicked a growling sound trying to  show her disapproval, "Slate, you will travel with Halo and Rosa to these four locations." the alpha said with a annoyed tone. Slate nodded in approval, "We better start moving, we want to hit the Sonora Desert before we actually get hit by a machine!" Halo barked. Rosa nodded but as they started walking a sweet voice filled the air, "Um," the little voice whimpered, causing the three wolves to stop, "Can I come with? I don't know where to go." murmured the tiny voice once again. Rosa turned to see Aurora, "Of course you can. The more the merrier." Rosa said with a bit of pity for the yearling, but she hid it with a smile. The four then started for the mountain range that would finally begin their great journey.
