Hey guys! Thanks for 1k! I'm glad you all enjoy my fanfic! Did y'all see the new episode of season 3 yet? It hasn't come out in Ireland yet, but it comes out on Monday! I can't wait to see it! I wanted to give you a bit more of a back story on the characters Alex Williams, so I will, I've updated Alex's face claim to be Emily Bett Rickards because I thought her look fitted the story more.

Name; Her birth name is Alexander Williams. Her parents gave her a boys name because they wanted a baby boy, but she was born a girl. Although her name is Alexander, she gets called Alex most often.
Age; Alex is 33 years old, born on the 27 of January, 1984
Gender; Alex is female, although I have stated above, her parents wanted her born a male.
Biography; Alexander Williams was born in Canaryville, Chicago. She lived with her parents and older brother, Noah, who was older by 16 years. When Alex was 4 Noah moved to Louisiana for a job, got married and had kids. Even though Noah and Alex didn't have the best relationship ever, he still would do anything for her.

Alex met both the Halsteads when she started an elementary school, being in the same class as Jay, a little trouble maker. Her and Jay played pranks, and were the bestest of friends. When they were 12, Jay and Alex went to the same high school. Alex was thinking about her future, as for Jay he wasn't thinking at all. Alex studied, Jay slept around with girls. Alex didn't care what he did, she just wanted to be his friend. The went on for 5 years. Will was at high school at this point. Usually Alex sat with Will at lunch while she watched Jay flirt. Will knew she liked Jay, and felt sorry for her. One day Jay asked her to go to a party, she accepted, knowing alcohol would be there. After school, she always got a way to get a bottle and drink it, she tried to hide it from her parents, usually saying she was at Will and Jay's, rather than getting drunk at a party. Even though she was an alcoholic, her grades were great, she always wanted to be a doctor. Will found out about her drinking problem when he seen her at a party, she explained everything to him, and he tried to help her, it helped a little, but she stilled needed the drink. The reasons she drink was because it numbed her pain, the panic, the anxiety, it made her feel free. Anyway, she went to the party with Jay, and he walked off probably hitting on a girl. She went to the kitchen and got a bottle of whiskey, went to a empty bedroom and drank, and drank. She was leaning against the wall when she seen Jay open the door.

"Hey what are you doing in here? I couldn't find you" Jay questioned her.

She didn't know if it was the drink or her, but she had to do it, she kissed Jay, and he kissed back, it got a little heated, and they did the deed. Losing her virginity to her best friend. Jay must of thought she was on birth control, he didn't use anything, and Alex, Alex forgot about protection.

Alex walked home, thinking she shouldn't have done that. She got dressed in her pjs and went to bed.

She went to school on Monday. Walking through the school, she say Jay, kissing a different girl. Was I another whore in his book? The asshole used me. She walked away and talked to Will, not telling him what she had done.

A couple of weeks after, Alex noticed she had missed her period by 3 days. Then she remembered what she did with Jay, and they didn't use anything, she ran to the pharmacy and got a test, she took it and it was positive and she cried. She was 2 weeks along, she wanted this all to go away, but she would keep her baby. Do everything for her baby, give up drink, go to a psychiatrist and get checked out. She knew she had some kind of mental illness, but she wouldn't admit it. She rang Jay and told him, he just hung up the phone. Alex cried herself to sleep. A couple of days after, at school and felt a pain in her stomach, she left school immediately and went to the hospital finding out about the miscarriage, she cried and cried. Jay rung her and asked her what happened, he said Will seen her leave and go to the hospital, and she told Jay about her miscarriage, and he just said "Sorry" and hung up. When the doctors were finished with her, she went home and told her parents, who disowned her and threw her out, she had no one here to help her so she called Noah, in Louisiana. He came and lifted her and took her to his home, he helped her get up off of her feet, paid for her to finish high school, and to go to medical college. After 2 years into medical school, she got a phone call from her dad saying her mother died, she didn't care, they threw her out, she was sick, sad, but they didn't care. Her brother went to the funeral, but she didn't. She told her brother about her panic attacks and he got Dr. Cox, a great psychiatrist, to diagnosed her. Alex and Dr. Cox (aka Myke) became great friends. She finished of in college, got her degrees. And became a trauma surgeon at St. George's. After a 2 years, the head of trauma quit and she became the head of trauma. After 3 years at St. George's, she left. Went back to Chicago and became an emergency of medicine doctor.
Nationality; Alex is 3/4 American and 1/4 Canadian. Alex, her mother and brother were born in Chicago, her father was born in Canada.
Profession; Alex is formerly the Head of Trauma at St. George's, currently she is a first-year attending physician in Emergency Medicine at Chicago Med.
Other; Alex has a scar on her stomach, due to getting stabbed and a tattoo of a star behind her ear.
