"Honestly, Callie, tell me this one thing," said Henry, Lucy in his lap as he pointed past her head.
"What one thing?" Callie asked, peering at the boy through a cloud of smoke.
"What does water taste like?"
Callie sat astounded, turning her head to Angela, who had her legs intwined in Callie's.
"Oh Merlin," said Callie. "I do not know."
Juno giggled from where she resided in the corner, watching on over her friends.
Sat beside her was Andrew, who drowsily watched on over his sister and their friends. "Juno, when did everyone get in a relationship. It's so icky."
"Andrew, boys aren't everything," she laughed. "You know what is everything? Sandwiches."
"Of course boys aren't everything silly Juno. Just ask Angela and Callie."
Juno began to gently slap his face. "Sandwiches Andy, sandwiches."
"What about him over there? The Ravenclaw boy, hanging around Allison and that Slytherin guy, Marco. I'm going to go over."
Andrew picked himself up from the ground and moved quickly to the blonde boy with a Ravenclaw scarf opposite him.
"Well then," Juno said to herself, exhaling a small bout of smoke. "Best go by myself to get a sandwich."
The witch wandered out of the small alcove at the end of the fifth floor corridor and headed off towards the kitchens, sauntering down the relatively still staircase and admiring the sleeping portraits alongside her.
She made her way down to the correct corridor, right near her common room, without being caught, and scurried over to the portrait to tickle the giggling pear.
The kitchen was relatively clear of house elves as those who worked at midnight tended to be dealing to cleaning the rooms.
Juno walked over towards a small cupboard down the end of the room, which was the unspoken Hufflepuff cupboard, filled with biscuits, tea, peanut butter, crackers, cheese and loaves of fresh bread.
"Brilliant," she whispered, hands reaching in to grab the peanut butter, cheese and bread.
Sandwiching it all together, Juno had ended up with a whole plate of sandwiches, cut into small triangles which she sat and ate in the corner of the kitchen.
Suddenly, the opening of the door made her look up from her snack, and thinking it was Andrew arriving after realising that sandwiches in fact were better than boys, Juno got a great fright in witnessing four boys adorned in red and gold.
She shrugged, returning to her plate as they headed towards the large stack of cupcakes that lay on a table, and peeled off the crusts, eating them first before she ate the best part of the sandwich.
"Sinclair?" Came a voice, and Juno looked up to see Remus Lupin looking at her in confusion, the wrapper half peeled off his cupcake.
Juno nodded at the group and raised her eyebrows in greeting, continuing to chew her crusts.
The boys, now identified as Remus, James Potter, Peter Pettigrew and Sirius Black, came over to her, James and Remus crouching down to meet her eye level.
"Are you okay?" Asked James, eyeing the witch carefully.
Juno swallowed the piece of bread she had been chewing to reply. "Perfectly, thank you. I'd just gotten hungry. Sandwich, anyone?"
The four boys looked at the plate, which still stood a good five sandwiches high, and James shrugged, taking one in his free hand and inspecting it. "What the heck is in this?"
"Cheese and peanut butter," the girl replied. "It's rather nice."
"What is up with her," James whispered to Remus, gaining only a shrug in response.
Sirius started sniggering from behind the two, licking the final bit of frosting from his finger as he discarded his wrapper.
"What are you laughing at," Remus asked, bemusedly watching the girl lick peanut butter off a slice of cheese.
"She's stoned you idiots," he scoffed. "High as a kite, spent a lot of time with the grass lately."
All three boys looked at Sirius in surprise as Juno waggled her eyebrows.
"Being high makes you eat cheese with peanut butter?" Peter asked, looking disgusted.
"Why don't you try it and find out Pettigrew," laughed Juno, nibbling on the very last crust of her now disappeared sandwiches.
"Didn't pick you for a stoner Sinclair," said Remus, as he sat down beside the girl.
"Wouldn't exactly call myself a stoner Lupin," she grinned. "Now, what brings you all to the kitchens? Stealing isn't good, you know."
James scoffed. "Well what were you doing then?"
"Making a sandwich, clearly Potter," she spoke, rolling her eyes at the bespectacled boy. "Maybe you need to get glasses as thick as mine and you would've been able to see that better."
Peter snickered from where he now sat, earning himself a whack around the ear from James.
"Someone's made of sarcasm, I thought Hufflepuffs were sugar and spice and all that," sneered James.
"Settle petal, you're gonna be needing much more bravery if you carry on with that attitude," she grinned, patting his knee. "So, cupcakes? What type?"
"Chocolate and strawberry," grinned Remus. "We think the elves have started leaving them out on purpose because of the amount we stole."
Nodding to herself, Juno became rather deep in thought. Suddenly, her eyes flickered up to the group, "Would anyone like to play scrabble?"
Hence, at midnight after Remus had charmed a scrabble board to fly into the kitchen, four Gryffindor boys and one Hufflepuff girl were sat playing a heated game of scrabble.
"How in the name of Merlin is 'quizzify' a word?" Cried Sirius in outrage.
"No need to get your panties in a knot there kiddo, not everyone can be as good at scrabble as me." Juno retorted, poking out her tongue at the boy.
Sirius looked pointedly at Remus, and he nodded in response. "Sorry man, she's right, it's a word."
"Oh for goodness sakes," he sulked. "Fine, let me lay down my word then."
James piped up, shaking his head. "I mean, you're welcome to man but she's already won."
Sirius mumbled something incoherent, which caused Peter, directly next to him, to laugh.
"What's that?" Asked Juno, looking at him closely.
Sirius rolled his grey eyes. "I just said you better not be a cat person or we won't be friends."
Juno grinned, standing up and brushing off the bottom of her jeans and straightening her yellow jumper.
"Good thing I'm a dog person then. Goodnight boys," she spoke, before strutting past them and off out of the kitchen, Sirius' gaze following her in a fashion that caused Remus to throw a scrabble piece at him.
"That's a lady, Padfoot, don't be so rude," he scolded, leaving the three others laughing as Sirius blushed lightly.
