"It's looking like it's best for you if you get a student tutor for Astronomy. Now sixth year Astronomy is quite a small class this year, and Professor Hesta has suggested that you pop along to the class this evening and see who is up for tutoring a fellow student."
Juno breathed a sigh of relief, quite grateful that Professor Sprout had gone to the effort at all to sort out her subject transfer for her.
"Thank you so much Professor, I really do owe you," she spoke, smiling gratefully at the witch. "I'm not sure I would have gotten through my N.E.W.Ts without switching."
"Juno, you'll do brilliantly in N.E.W.Ts no matter which subjects you're taking, as long as you apply yourself," spoke the witch, her kind eyes twinkling at the thankful sixth year in front of her. "Now, I best be off, I have second year next period and they're a troublesome age. I will see you at dinner Juno."
"Thank you again Professor," smiled Juno, readjusting her glasses as her Head of House left the room.
Juno let out a happy squeak, brushing back her hair as she stood up from where she was sat and collected up her backpack, latching it over both shoulders.
She exited the room, smile still plastered over her face, and crashed smack bang into a hard, warm body.
Her glasses fell straight off her face from the impact, leaving her surroundings in a total blur.
"I've lost my glasses," came a cry, and it was certainly not Juno's.
Juno bent down to try and find her glasses, but as she did so, her head whacked straight into another one, causing her and the other party to cry out in pain as both fell backwards.
"My head," cried Juno, patting around the ground in hopes of finding her glasses.
"Who is that?" The other voice cried, sounding like they were patting the ground in hope themselves.
"It's Juno Sinclair, who are you?" Juno uttered in panic.
"It's James, Potter," he cried, crawling around blindly.
To say that Sirius Black and Lily Evans walked into an unexpected situation along the corridor would be an understatement.
James Potter and Juno Sinclair were both crawling around on the floor, their glasses sat in the opposite direction to where they were reaching and the pair seemed hopelessly blinded as Lily and Sirius stood shocked.
James suddenly moved his hand further left, accidentally grasping the top of Juno's left thigh, causing her to kick out and knock him in the stomach as she squealed.
"Merlin James I know you can't see but I'm still a lady," she huffed, looking at the blur which she assumed was the Potter boy.
It was at that point that Lily Evans began absolutely cackle.
"Help has arrived," cried James. "And it sounds like it's dear Lily Evans, oh I would know that laugh anywhere. Lily, be a dear and please pass me my glasses."
Lily was still nearly in tears of laughter as suddenly, Juno's sight was returned to her, with her glasses placed back on her face by the rough hands of Sirius Black, whose face appeared out of the blur.
Juno met his eyes, and a grin lit up on her face, before her eyes looked at the still blinded James and she fell into matching giggles to Lily.
James was starting to wail far more than he had been before, begging in desperation for Lily's help.
Suddenly, Sirius looked pointedly at Juno and Lily and winked, signalling for the pair to remain quiet and not give away his actions.
He snuck over, staying crouched low to the ground as he picked up James' square rimmed glasses and waltzed over to the boy.
Squatting directly in front of him, he ran a hand through the boys already messy hair, causing James to grin widely.
Sirius bent forth to plant a kiss on his friends forehead.
"Oh Lily, you shouldn't have, your lips are so nice and soft..."
Suddenly, James came to a stop with his ramble, as his glasses were placed back on his face and his sight fully returned to him, bringing him face to face with Sirius, grinning directly at him.
"Oh for Merlin's sake Padfoot," he cried, shoving his friend in the chest.
The boys both scampered to their feet, Sirius still grinning like a complete idiot.
James came up close to Sirius, and spoke so quietly that only Sirius and Juno could hear him.
"You are so lucky you didn't lead that any further man, you lead me to believe that was Lily Evans kissing me and running her hand through my hair and there's only one place that'll lead," he spoke aggressively, before coming into a cheeky grin to match that of his partner in crime.
"Sorry about that, by the way Sinclair. Didn't mean to knock into you, or you know, grab you," he blushed, laughing nervously.
Juno merely grinned at him. The situation had simply been too funny to be angry at, and whilst the breach of personal space wasn't Juno's favourite occurrence, it seemed it was the year of Gryffindors knocking Juno to the ground.
"I must say though Lily," began James, turning slowly towards the witch. "I'm a little bit hurt you didn't come to my rescue. I was a damsel in distress you know, you're supposed to save the day."
Lily rolled her dynamic green eyes and looked pointedly at Juno, who laughed under her breath.
"Good luck with that Potter. I'll see you all in the common room later, nice to see you Juno," she grinned, walking off with a flick of her red hair.
"Nice try Prongs," spoke Sirius, scrumpling up his friends hair.
"I really best be off," smiled Juno, tucking her hair back behind her ears. "Good to see you both though."
Juno walked past James, still on the floor and ruffled his hair, before stepping past Sirius and placing her hand on his arm, giving the boy a thankful glance, before walking off down the corridor.
Sirius was left with James still on the floor, while he looked after Juno with a bashful smile lighting up his face.
"Oi, are you planning on helping me up or just looking at her arse," James grumbled, causing Sirius to shove him further into the floor.
