Pietro
All I saw was the blinding light, and now darkness, nothing more and nothing less. I was out, knocked out. The X-Men have decided to pick another fight with my father. I was dragged into this, I didn't want to fight anymore, I was tired and broken.
A sudden pain struck through my fragile body, I felt myself being carried. My mind was trapped inside itself, I could hear, smell and feel. I couldn't speak, however.
"You gotta wake up." I heard a familiar voice echo through my mind, a rough deep voice that was overtaken with tears and sobbing. "Please wake up!" He cried again, I knew who it was now, it was one of the X-Men? Why were they hoping I would wake up?
I felt a cold hand touch my face, which was soothing. I felt myself smile, he let out a sigh of relief.
"You are okay!"
I opened my eyes and looked into his green ones. It was the Wolverine. The beauty of this man swept my fears and woefulness away. He took off his mask, revealing his well-cut hair, and his well-defined face. The light found it's way to us, and us only. I heard no one screaming or yelling. It was peaceful. He stared into my eyes and I stared into his.
"Why do you care about me?" I managed to speak. His eyes sparkled with wonder and astonishment.
"You are the most beautiful person I have ever laid my eyes upon," He intertwined his fingers in my white hair, "I couldn't let them kill you."
I felt hot tears run down my reddened cheeks. Did he love me? I would never have thought anyone would!
"Wolverine-" I began but was cut off by him placing his finger to my mouth.
"My name is Logan, bub." He kissed me softly, running his hands down to my thighs. I gasped for breath.
YOU TRAITOR!
Logan pulled away fast, my heart stopped and the sudden boom in the air.
"Father!" I saw the fury in his dead eyes. He threw an X-Man to the ground and stomped his way to me and Logan.
"You-" My father removed his helmet, and clenched his fists tightly. His glare fixed on Logan.
"Don't touch him," Logan growled, his metallic claws shot out of his knuckles.
My father didn't say a word, but he pointed at Logan, the metal circled us. Logan's claws began to depart and separate. His arms and legs directed at my father's field.
"NO!" I screamed and used my mutation to easily push my father to the ground. But that didn't stop him. A small groan escaped Logan's lips. I held him tightly. "Logan, I can get us out of-"
"Pietro!" Logan pinned me to the floor and the sound of metal pierced through Logan's flesh. His whole body bombed with sharp blades. He leaned closer to me and smiled.
"You would die for me?" I wept, my world falling apart within me. My hand touched his chest gently, the metal blades poking through him, the blood trickling down slowly.
"I would die for you." His green eyes dilated, and his lifeless body fell onto mine. My hands vibrated in fear, my vision blurred and my throat tightened. The smell of misery filled the air.
"No, please!" I lamented. My hands clenching tufts of Logans locks. "Don't die." I exhaled my last breath and with a sudden feeling of agonising pain, all was faded to black.
