"Okay everyone. Let's start the C. C. meeting," announced Edward. He seems pretty bossy, but that's usually how he sounds. I'm used to it already, so I shouldn't be complaining.

Kai, Jared, Sylvia, Grace, and I sit down around a large rectangular table in the cafeteria. Some chairs are really short for some reason, and when Grace sat down on a short one without noticing, she fell to the ground. We all bursted out laughing and she joined in with us.

"-hahaha okay guys. Let's get to business," Edward continues. I take a quick look around the room and notice that something is missing... I should actually say someone is missing. Michaela is not here. I can tell Kai notices, too, because she looks at me and mouths a question. Where's Michaela? I shrug back at her with a confused face on.

"Um, excuse meh," says Jared. "I have a question."

Edward replies, "Yes?"

"Where's Michaela?"

Wow. I didn't think he'd notice that she's not here. Being the one that doesn't notice things like that, I'm surprised.

We all look around the room. Everyone now notices that she's not here. Kai turns to Edward. "I last messaged her this morning, but she never answered! Maybe she, uh... Overslept?"

We all turn towards Edward, in shock. He's really nervous. "Okay, okay. Um... Um... Crystal! Message her!" I never message her unless it's to ask about homework. It's the first time I'll be messaging her about something other than homework.

After talking about what might be holding up Michaela, I finally message her. I send her a short and simple message.

Crystal: Hey, where are you...?

The Corridor Crashers sit at the table eating snacks and drinks that we got from a fridge in the kitchen. It's been half an hour since I wrote to Michaela. What is keeping her so long to write? Suddenly, my phone rings. It's from Michaela.

Michaela: You'll never find her... And I know where you "Corridor Crashers" are and who each of you are... I love you... Baby...

I'm frozen. Stiff. My face is pale white, just like yesterday when I found out about my grades in front of the whole class. I look up at everyone and they look scared. They must notice that I am frightened to death. Chills run all throughout my body.

"Crystal! What did Michaela say!?" yells Grace. She's really protective over me. She's like my big sister.

I don't say a word to anyone. I slowly hand my phone to Grace. I have a blank face with no expression. They all gather around Grace and read over the message. They slowly look over to me.

Sylvia yells, "WHAT DID WHOEVER IS MESSAGING TO YOU DO TO MICHAELA!? WHY ARE THEY CALLING YOU BABY!? AND HOW DOES HE KNOW US AND WHERE WE ARE!?"

Before I even get to speak, the lights flicker. 12. They flicker 12 times. Then... The power's out. It's pitch black in the cafeteria. I can't see anything or anyone in here.

"Guys!" I yell, hoping for a response. "Yell your names so I know we're all here!"

"Grace!"

"Edward!"

"Kai!"

There's only three names I hear being called out. Where are the other two? Maybe they didn't hear me. Somehow...

Before I can repeat what I just yelled, I hear three loud thumps somewhere in the room. Then, a scream is let out. "AHHHH!!" It's a girl's scream.

I yell back to the scream, "SYVLIA!! WHERE ARE YOU!?"

"AHHHHHH!!" yells another voice. This time, it's a guy's scream.

"JARED!!" I scream. I'm really scared now.

Where are they? What happened to them? All these kind of questions are running through my head. After a few minutes, I finally calm down. Sort of... I can't work myself up too much or I'll faint again.

Right when I think it's all over for now, something grabs my right wrist. I'm not sure what it is. It doesn't feel like human skin. I'm sweating so much from all this surprise things happening.

The thing holding into my wrist gets tighter and tighter each time I inhale and exhale. I can't take the pain anymore. "AHHHHH!!" I yell out.

"CRYSTAL!!!" the three other C. C.'s cry out. Suddenly, I'm somehow lifted up and I'm moving. The screams of the C. C.'s get softer and softer as I move farther away.

Then, something hits me hard in the head. What the heck is hitting me? A frying pan?! It hits me again and I'm knocked out.
