Zoe's Point of View.
I put the salad on the table and walked back to the kitchen.

"This looks delicious, little one," Alfie compliments coming up behind me as I stir the pasta. I smile and look up at him. He pecks my lips then turns around to open the refrigerator. "Need me to do anything?"

"Nope, I've got everything handled," I told him and grabbed the strainer and pot taking them to the sink and pouring the pasta and water into the strainer. He watched me to make sure I didn't burn myself more than likely.

"When are Joe, Caspar and Adeline supposed to arrive?" He asked and sat on the counter.

"Any moment," I told him and placed the strainer on top of the pot. I placed it back on the stove and started making the sauce as the door bell goes off. "They're here!" I squeal and start to go to let them in but Aldo's pulls me back gently.

"You continue cooking, I'll let them in," He tells me, kissing my hair. I smile and continue working on the pasta. I hear them talking in the hallway and I grin.

"Hey Zoe," I hear Joe behind me and he walks over.

"Hey Joe, how are you feeling?" I ask turning around to hug him. He wraps his arms around me as I wrap mine around him.

"Still a little sore but that's normal. I had my follow-up a couple days ago and they said everything was in check. They even did Adaline's check up while we were there and she is as healthy as a horse," He explain and grabs a string of pasta and places it in his mouth and chewing it.

"That's amazing," I tell him before turning back and finishing up the sauce. I place everything on the table and grab the garlic bread from the oven and place it on a plate then place that on the table.

"Would you like to hold Adaline?" Asked Caspar walking over with the small child. I smile widely and go to wash my hands quickly. I dry them off and walk back over to him. He carefully had her over to me and I hold her close to me.

"Hello honey," I whisper and she looks up at me. "You're so cute," I squeal lowly and look at Caspar. "She has your nose," I point out and he smiles with a curt nod. Joe walks over wrapping his arms around Caspar. He kisses Joe's head, wrapping his arm around him.

"Isn't she precious?" Asked Joe, I nod.

"She is," I tell them.

"How many weeks is she now?" Asked Aldo's, joining the small group that gathered in the dining room.

"Two considering we had our check up a couple days ago,"Joe said with a fond smile at Adaline. "Thank you guys for staying at the hospital with us,"

"It was no problem," We said at the same time. I handed Adaline to Joe while Caspar went to the bathroom. He bounced softly and Adaline giggled. I smiled and announced that dinner was set and ready to be eaten wen Caspar came back. We all sat down and put food on our plates. Joe fed Adaline before eating his own food with a bottle of formula.

"How is she doing on eating?" Alfie asked, taking a bite from his garlic bread.

"Really great. She doesn't really fuss about it," Joe tells us as he places the bottle down because Adaline spit up. He wipes her mouth and picks her up so that her view was over his shoulder. He started patting her back until she let out a small burp. He got up and placed her on a little blanket and placed a fence around her so Nala couldn't trample her. He blew a kiss to her and placed the blanket in the diaper bag before coming back over and taking his first bite of spaghetti. He smiled.

"Good?" I asked, he nodded.

"Amazing, like always, Zoe," He complimented before continuing to eat his food. Once we all finished our food, we went into the living room with Adaline. He placed her on the couch on the blanket and kept a hand on her so she wouldn't roll off. We turned on Harry Potter.

"Always a good choice," Caspar said and cuddled close to Joe. He kissing the back of Joe's causing him to shiver to which Caspar smirked and placed a hand on Joe's hip.

I cuddled close to Alfie and laid my head on his chest. He wrapped his arms around me. We all watched the movie until Adaline started fussing. Joe got up and took her out to calm her down. I looked at Caspar who was asleep.

"That must've been why he left," I said, Alfie nodded and we turned back to the movie. He came back a couple minutes later and Adaline was asleep in his arms.

"We should leave. So I can put her to bed and so Caspar get go to bed," Joe whispered, and gently shook Caspar. Caspar jumped awake and looked up at Joe. "Hey baby, we should go. I'll drive home," He whispered, Caspar tiredly nodded and sat up.

"Thank you for having us," Caspar said groggily. Alfie and I sat up and stood up. Caspar went and folded the fence, folded the blanket and placed them both in the diaper bag and placed it on his shoulder.

"Anytime, you guys are always allowed over," I told them, hugging them both. I kissed Adaline head gently careful not to wake up. "Deep sleeper?"
I asked, Joe nodded. We followed them out and I closed the door locking it. I watched them drive out and I turned around. Alfie kisses my forehead and I smiled. We walked back to the living room, turning off the television then let Nala out in the back to use to the bathroom.

"Adaline is adorable," I told Alfie, leaning against his chest. He nodded, wrapping his arms around my front.

"But not as adorable as you, my little one," He whispered, placing a gentle kiss between the crook of my neck and my shoulder. I giggled with a faint blush before Nala came running up. We all went inside the upstairs after shutting all the lights off.
