Chapter 6.

Zoe's Point of View.

"Joe is going to be fine. We got the tumor of the cancer out before it was able to spread through his body." The doctor tells us, making my dad and I smile. "That's fantastic!" Dad yells, but the doctor bites his lip. "But, he will have to come in for check up's every so often to make sure the cancer won't or can't come back." The doctor explains, making my dad frown. "When's every so often?" Alfie asks the doctor.  "Next month, he'll come in for an MRI." The doctor clarifies. We all nod, understanding. "We'll call every other week, to check up on him. Ask how he's feeling and everything." He again clarifies. "Okay. Thank you." Dad speaks out, tears welling in his eyes, making me frown. "Alrighty, the nurses will be in every other hour too make sure, you all and Joe, himself are comfortable and everything. Any questions?" I look at my dad to see, that he is in deep thoughts. "Dad." I say, waving my hand in his face. He jumps and looks at the doctor. "What'd you say?.." He asks, "Any question's?" He asks, again. "Oh... No.." The doctor nods, leaving the room.

A few hours later, Joe woke up. "Can I have some food?" Joe asks, a few moments later. "Yeah, let me ask the nurse." I tell him, getting up out of my chair, leaving the room. "Excuse me?" I ask, the nurse. "Hi Hon. What can I do for you?" She asks me, smiling. "Can my brother, Joe, eat yet?" I ask, she starts typing, eyes wavering the screen. "How long ago was his surgery?" She asks, glancing at me. "I think 5 hours ago, maybe?" I inform her, she nods. "Yeah. Just liquid, like maybe Jello? No solids." She explains and smiles. "Thank you." I tell her, smiling back, going back into the room. "Joe, you can eat. Only Jello and liquids. I can run out and get a you a milkshake from McDonalds, if you want me to." I explain to Joesph, he nods. "Can you, maybe get me both?" He whispers, fumbling with the hospital blanket. "Of coarse, Joe." I say, walking over and kissing his head. "Try and get some rest while, I go out and get them." He nods and lays down completely, closing his eyes. I walk out, soon leaving the hospital, going to my car.

"I hate going out on my own, especially while it's dark out." I whisper to no one in particular, fumbling with my keys, trying to find my car key, when I feel someone wrap their arms around me, and a cloth covering my mouth, making me scream. 

Alfie's Point of View.

"Thank you for calling me, please leave a message, your number, name and I'll try to get back to you! Bye!" Zoe's voice fills through the speaker, making me, choke on a sob, this being the 20th try on calling her. "Zoe.. Please call me back. Joe said, you went out three hours ago, too get him a MilkShake a-and Jello. Baby.. Please." I whisper, tears streaming down my face. "Any luck?" Her dad says, worry filling his voice. I shake my head, "N-No, Nothing. At all. I keep getting her voice mail." I tell him, leaning my head back against the wall. "We'll file a missing person report in 24 hours." He tells me, making me nod. "O-Okay." I whisper and start going into Joe's room. "Any luck?" He whispers, tearing streaming down his voice. "No.." I tell him, sadly, making him choke on a sob. Caspar enters the room, with Molly and stop in their tracks seeing the way Joe is. "Joe, what happened!?" Caspar gasps, walking over to him. "Zoe's missing." I tell him, making his head snap towards me. "W-What?.." He says, tearing immediately. "She went out three hours ago to get Joe a MilkShake and Jello, never came back. Her cars still here though." I explain, starting to pace back and forth.

A few hours later, we're still waiting to see if we hear anything for Zoe, with little hope in us. "I'm going out to try and find her." Caspar says, standing up." Molly stands up, grabbing his hand. "No. Caspar, it's not safe out there. You could go missing too.." Molly says, pushing him back in the chair. "Molly, no. I need to try and find her!" He says, standing up. "Caspy, no, please." Joe whispers, clearly in pain. "Want me to get some pain meds?" DaddySugg asks, making Joe nod. "Joe, I need to find your sister! She's missing!" Caspar says, starting to get frustrated. "Please, Caspy. Stay here." Joe whimpers, tearing up, making Caspar's face soften. "Fine.." He says, sitting down again, only to have Molly sit on him. "Molly!" Caspar gasps, blushing. "Just too make sure you, don't try that again." She says, getting comfy, making me chuckle. "Here you go hon. "The nurse says, walking in and giving Joe some pain medication. "Thank's Melanie." He whispers, putting them in his mouth, grabbing his water and taking them.

"Welcome, honey." She says and leaves. "Melanie?" I ask, he nods. "Melanie. Melanie Tinel. She's the fiance to Autumn Connser." He explains, making me nod. "Okay. "I say, taking it all in. DaddySugg comes back in and sits down again.

"Alf, wake up." I hear a voice. "Alfie!" The voice giggles. "Zoe?" I whisper, opening my eyes." Hi baby." She says, hugging me. "Zoe! Where were you!?" I whisper, biting my lip. "Here? The entire time. Waiting for Joe to wake up." She says, smiling.   "Wake up? What happened?" I say, sitting up completely. "He's getting surgery. Remember?" She tells me, I shake my head.  "You're not real! You're missing!" I scream, standing up. "Alfie.. What're you talking about?.." She whispers, tearing welling up. "No. No!" I scream, running away. "Alfie! Don't forget about me!" She screams, sobbing. "Alfie!" Someone screams, suddenly feeling a sting on my cheek. "Alfie!" I hear again, making me jump up, knocking them down. "Caspar?" I whisper, helping him up. "You were yelling Zoe's name in your sleep. We got worried. You woke up Joe." He explains, dusting off dust off of him. "Sorry, Joe.." I say, he shakes his head. "It's fine." He tells me, closing his eyes again. I nod and sit down. 

"I found a clue about Zoe!" Molly says, breathing heavily.
