Chapter 13 - New York Talk

*Back to normal point of view, Abigail's*

Me and mum left the house, i locked up when mum started to walk to the Mahone's. I locked the front door, placed the keys into my pocket while i walked down the porch. I was at the end of our driveway and my mum was already at the other side of the road.

As i was walking across the road there was a guy walking on my side of the road, he looked familiar. I slowly walked to Austin's side of the road with my eyes still on this guy. As the guy got closer to my house, i noticed who the guy was. He had figured out where i lived. I just stood there in shock.

Pamela: Abi! get off the road before you get hit by a car!

I didn't respond to what she said, i just stood there and stared at the guy. He had noticed i was staring and looked at me. My palms of my hands were sweating like mad. Luckly enough the eye contact between us was only for a few second as my mum grabbed my arm and moved me off the road.

Pamela: what were you staring at? you could have been hit by a car!

Abigail: sorry, its just *looks down*

Pamela: just what?

I look up and my mum looks behind me and says the guy that is still looking at me

Pamela: Abigail, who is that guy?

I looked down again

Abigail: *speaking under my breath* Noah

Pamela: pardon sweetie?

I look up and look straight into my mums eyes.

Abigail: Noah

She realise it was the Noah and she hugged me tight and told me, he won't hurt me as long as she was around. That's when i told her about Dad and Katherine getting married and i would be going back to New york in a fortnight for the wedding.

She put her arm around my shoulder and i put my arm around her waist and we walked to the Mahone's front door and i ringed the door bell.

A minute later Michele opened the door and greeted us, she hugged my mum and give me a kiss on the check with a quick hug.

Michele: Welcome you two, Austin is a little behind, he's not finished setting the table yet

Pamela: that's okayy, we're early 

Michele: by 5 minutes 

Abigail: at least we're not an hour late

We all giggled and michele showed us through to the dining room. Austin was standing there all handsome, leaning against the table.

Michele: oh your finished Austin

Austin: i was finished ages ago mum

Abigail: sure Austin

Austin: nice to see you too Abi

We both laughed and me and Austin both sat down next to each other, while mum and Michele went into the kitchen to have a little talk before tea.

Austin: So hows your day been?

Abigail: yeah good, spoke with my dad but when i coming here that changed but then it got better again when i saw you *smiles* what about you?

Austin: if you don't mind me asking but what happened when you were coming over here? and my day has been good but my grandparents left today to see my Aunt Lisa in Florida

Abigail:bet they'll have fun in Florida though right? and i just saw someone from my past that i didnt want to see that's all

Austin: yeah but they went without me though *sad face* and oh, sorry

Abigail: it's okay, and awh poor Austin

Austin: hey!

Abigail: sorry *starts laughing*

Just then Michele and my mum come into the dining, in the middle of a conversation they were having

Michele: really? That's when me and Austin are going

Pamela: yeah, that's crazy

Abigail: what's crazy mum?

Austin: your nosey Abi!

Abigail: shut up, anyway, what's crazy mum? 

Pamela: when you are going to New York, that's when Austin and Michele are going for one of Austin's concerts.

Abigail: really? cool!

Austin: why are you going back to New York so soon? when you just got here basically

Abigail: long story short, my dad is getting married sooner than they planned so him and my future stepmum and getting married in two weeks

Austin: oh right

Abigail: yeah, but good luck with the concerts!

Austin: Thanks, you too with the wedding

We both look at each other but we didn't realise Michele and my mum had left but they come back a few seconds laters with our dinner.

We all eat our dinner and had different conversations, i learned that Austin has a cousin called Mac who lives in New York. After dinner me and Austin went to his room and talked about hanging out in New York. 

Abigail: If you haven't you have to go see The Empire State Building. They have beautiful views of New York from the top

Austin: Yeah i've been before but it'll be cool if we both went *little pause as he cleared his throat* together

Abigail: yeah that would be cool *i smiled at him* so when is your concert then?

Austin: the * little pause as he thinks when it is* yeah, its the 3rd September. Fancy having back stage passes? When's the wedding?

Abigail: yeah! thanks,that would be amazing Austin! and the fourth, day after your concert

Austin: your welcome, and that means i won't be able to see you the whole day then *sad face*

Abigail: you could

Austin: how do you mean?

Abigail: well you could be my plus one? *smiles*
