Unexpected Love

Chapter 19 - Dads married

I can't believe it, dad's married. I'm so happy for him. We're all outside getting group photos done, dad and Katherine look really happy together, more than i've ever them before. Me and Austin are getting our photo's taken with dad and Katherine, its weird because it's might to be couple, like going out couple that get photo's with the bride and groom, and me and Austin aren't together but it feels right that he's by my side, like it's meant to be. 

We're at the hotel now. I'm not at the top table though, i'm at the 'Summer table', there's only 5 table including the top table, there's not that may people here. I'm sitting beside Austin and my Uncle Freddy, he's the comedian of the family. He's my dad's older brother and he's with his wife, Juila, and his only son, Tommy, he's 17, he's not really a good looking cousin but he's alright to talk to. 

It's the speeches time and i can tell you now, it will get boring.... Katherine's dad, Joseph, has already done his speech and it's dad's turn.

Harry: I would just like to say on behalf of myself and my new wife *everyone is cheering*, thank you everyone for coming to our special today, there's a lot of yous that have come from across the country to be here, from California *he points to me cousin Johnny and his family*, from Texas *he points to me and Austin*, from Florida *he points to my grandparents*, from Ohio *he points to members of Katherine's family who i'm not sure who they are*..............

He goes on about thanking everyone that was involved in the wedding preparations and toasted to them, the bridesmaids and to Katherine, the bride. He also thank his dad for everything he's done and how he's been there through everything. He talked about how he meet Katherine and how the fell in love and all the love dovey stuff. It's James turn now, he's the best man.

James: All right, i'm not going make this as long as Harry did but i'll make it funnier * everyone giggles*. Right well i'd just like to thank everyone for coming and thank you to everyone that was in the wedding preparations......

James was right, his speech was funnier than dad's, everyone was laughing at his stupid jokes. He told us about him and dad when they were younger and how stupid they were, i never knew my dad was such a rebel.

We've had our dinner and the band is setting up and Dad and Katherine are outside taking more photo's. Me and Austin are standing waiting at the bar to get out drinks.

Dad and Katherine are dancing to their first dance right now, their dancing to, Lonestar, 'Amazed'. James and Lucy, the maid of honour are getting up to dance too, along with my granddad and Katherine's mum. I was surprises at what happened next.....
