Unexpected Love

Chapter 23 - It's not a friendly outing

Yesterday was amazing, i really enjoyed hanging out with Aidan again, it just felt like old time. The show was really good, so was Kate. Aidan's cousin who played Glinda. We hanged out in central Park after the show till we had to go for tea. I'm staying with him tomorrow night and spending the day with him and heading home the day after.  I don't want to leave him again, it was hard enough the first time, it's gonna be worse this time round.

Today though i'm spending it with Austin, i can't wait, we're going out to Liberty Island to visit the Statue of Liberty. Can't wait but i had to get up at half eight this morning so i could be ready to leave at twenty to 10. We're getting the ten past ten ferry across to the island. I'm gonna be really tired. I hate having to get up early in the morning, it's like a nightmare.

I've been up for 20 minutes now, it's quarter to 9 and i'm in the kitchen having my cereal waiting for my dad to get out of the shower. Me and Katherine are sitting with each other in silence.

Harry: okay Abi, you can get in the shower now!!

I heard my dad shouting and i carefully dropped my bowl and spoon into the sink and skipped to the bathroom to have my shower. 

I got out my shower and went to find an outfit for today,  it's meant to be quiet warm today but we'll be on a boat so the coldness from the water will made me cold. I grabbed out my 3-quarters and my star top. I went and turned on my straighters and waited for them to heat up. I straightened my hair and turned them off after i was done. I went back into the bathroom and did my make-up and headed back into my room. 

Twenty past nine, i picked up my butterfly bracelets, put them on my wrist and grabbed my star earrings and put them in my ear holes and picked up my star chain and put it around my neck. I grabbed my grey converses, placed them on my feet and grabbed my brown shoulder bag  ([polyvore]) and headed downstairs to meet dad.

Harry: ready sweetie? 

Abi: yep

Harry: okay, here is yours and Austin's lunch

He hands me our sandwiches and i put them into my bag.

Abi: thanks dad

Harry: welcome, right lets go then

We head out the door and we get into dad's car and head for Austin's hotel, we're picking him up and dad's dropping us off at Battery Park. I text Austin to tell him that we're on our way and he texts me back that he's waiting outside for us. We arrived at the Sheraton New York Hotel, where Austin is staying with Michele and he was waiting for us. He hopes into the car and we drive to Battery Park. Dad took the long way round so we wouldn't get stuck in traffic and he was right, we didn't get stuck in traffic. 

It's only ten o'clock when we arrive at the park, we were only ten minutes early. We say goodbye to my dad and we go to buy our tickets. This is my third time coming over there, been once with my dad and once with dad and Katherine. We're just waiting around now, waiting for the ferry to return.

Austin: so is this your first time?

Abi: no, been twice before

Austin: really? doesn't it get boring the third time?

Abi: no, it's a beautiful monument and you can see most of Manhattan from the top.

We head over to the ticket office and buy our times. The Ferry arrives and we board.

We've just finished our tea and we're walking around Time Square.

Austin: Abi?

Abi: yeah?

Austin: Can i ask you something?

Abi: course, anything

Austin: well, the night of the wedding.... did you feel anything in that kiss?

I turn and look into his beautiful hazel eyes, wondering why he's asking me than.

Abi: why do you ask?

Austin: because i felt something....

Abi: you did?

Austin: yeah and i feel something right now

Abi: what do you me...

I was cut off by a pair of lips being crashed onto mine. After a few minutes i kissed him back and our lips moved in sync with one an other. He had his strong arms wrapped around my waist and i had my arms around his neck. Just when we were getting right into it, i pulled away.

Abi: i can feel it too

I smile really big and so does Austin

Austin: good 

He pecks my lips once again.

Abi: so today? that wasn't just a friends day out then?

Austin: not really... more like a date

Abi: well want to know something?

Austin: yep

Abi: i really liked it

I pecked his lips and was just waiting for him to ask me the question....
