Unexpected Love

Chapter 14 - It was a night to remember

Abigail: That is if you want to, i'm not forcing you to or anything like that

Austin: hey,hey, yeah i would love to be your plus one *he smiles at me*

Abigail: cool, i'll tell my dad that your my plus one then *i smile back to him*

We talked for a while longer and then we decided to watch tv. Austin skipped through the channels and found that Ninja warrior were on, and we decided to watch that. We both laughed a couple of times. I felt good when i was with Austin, it was a feeling i didn't really feel with Noah, well with any other guy in fact. 

Ninja warriors was nearly finished, it only had about 5 minutes left.I went to put my crisp packet in the bin that Austin got half way through the program for me, just when i dropped the rubbish in the bin i looked up and in the window for just a second i saw Noah. 

Abigail: *shouted* Noah?!

I fell backwards and landed on my butt.i crawled up into a ball and started talking to myself, rocking back and fourth, forgetting that Austin was in the room too.

Abigail: Please go away Noah. You can't hurt me again Noah. You left, why are you back? How do you know where i lived? 

Austin: Abi!! Who's Noah? Abi!?

Abigail: how did you know i was here at Austin's? Who told you? why are you back? Are you back for more? 

Austin: ABIGAIL!

Abigail: *looks up* he, Noah, he was at the window. 

Austin jumped up and ran towards the window and looked out.

Austin: He's not here anymore Abigail

Abigail: *still shaking* he was there

Austin came back to me and went to his knees and hugged him, he hugged me tight. I felt warm when i was with him, i felt safe, like Noah could never hurt me when Austin was around me.

Austin: everything is gonna be okay, i promise

Abigail: thank you Austin

Austin: your welcome Abi, can i ask you something

I pulled away from the hug and looked Austin straight in the eyes.

Abigail: course 

Austin: who is Noah?

I look down, in shame of what happened between me and Noah

Abigail: he was my ex boyfriend

I look back up at Austin

Abigail: well he wasn't just my ex boyfriend, he was my abusive ex boyfriend.

Austin: awh abi, i never knew, i'm sorry

He hugged me again but this time, he hugged me tighter, like he never wanted to let go.

Abigail: its okay, do you want to know something though?

Austin: yeah?

I pulled away from his hugged and held his hands and looked straight into his eyes, his beautiful hazel eyes.

Abigail: i thought i loved Noah, even though he did all that stuff to me. After i finally broke it off with him i was scared of falling in love again, i was scared of just becoming friends with anyone, i only had a couple friends in New York. When i came here, i meet you and i thought you might be like him and that's why at the start i wasn't that interested in talking to you and i'm sorry for that and i just want you to know, that since i've become friends with you, you've changed me, in a good way, you taught me to trust people again and you never knew you were doing this. Thank you Austin, i mean that.

Austin: Abigail, i will never be like Noah,never and i wondered why you were acting strange when we first started to talk, but i'm glad you decided to become my friend. Your welcome Abigail

Just then, i meant i felt my self come close to him, he was coming closer into me too but then Austin's door opened, we both pulled back and saw both our mum's were standing there. We both looked at each other and Austin helped me up from the floor.

Pamela: Are you ready to go sweetie?

Abigail: sure 

Pamela: okay, let's go then

We all walked to the door where we said our thanks and goodbyes.

It was 10 o'clock now, been home for a while. Me and my mum have been on Skype with my dad talking about the wedding details and everything. 2nd September i'll be leaving San Antonio and 8th september i'll be leaving New York and coming back home. My mum told me that i'll be on the same flight as Austin and Michele but i'll probably wouldn't be sitting beside them though. I'll be a loner on the flight.Great.

I was in my room, sitting on my bed, my back against the wall and my laptop on my lap. I was listening to music and was on twitter at the same time. For the past couple of days i've gained quite a few followers and tweets from Mahomies, i wasn't sure if Austin mentioned me or not though. I went to check his twitter page. I noticed he had tweeted something about 30 minutes ago. It said:

"@AustinMahone: Had a good tea, good chat with @JustSmile_Abi and we're going to her Dad's wedding 

together and she's showing me around NY too !#CantWait!<3"

I guess he's excited for New York too, i can't wait to watch him backstage at his concert, that'll be amazing. Apart from seeing Noah and all that drama, tonight was a really great night. Austin meant it when he said 'it'll be a night to remember'
