Unexpected Love

Chapter 6 - I've missed you Aidan

I thought i could go a few hours without him in my thoughts, but i thought wrong. I didn't even go 20 minutes without him rolling around in my mind. I kept picturing his smile while i was putting my clothes away, i kept hearing him singing in my head when i was eating my tea. 

It was around 8 at night and i could tell Snoopy wanted to go out for his walk, so i took him out. When we were in the park, i got a text from someone

"Aidan: hey, sweetie, up for a skype tonight?(:"

OMG, it's Aidan, i've missed him so much, but i completely forgot to skype him the night i got here. I feel really bad now.I texted him back.

"Abigail: Hey New Yorker (; Yeah sure, i have so much to tell you, i've missed you so much!"

Once as i sent the text, i shouted on Snoopy to come back. I attached his lead to his collar and ran home. I was running down my street, i completely forgot that i was on Austin's side of the street, he was still outside with his friends. Austin shouted at me while i was running past his house.

Austin: Abigail? where are you going in such a hurry?

Abigail: Sorry Austin, i can't stop, i've got to get home as soon as i can, i'm away to Skype with Aidan. *saying Aidan's name with a huge grin across her face*

Austin: oh right *little pause* have fun skyping with you boyfriend.

I didn't even hear Austin say Aidan was my boyfriend,he thought he was my boyfriend, reallly? I just have to tell him tomorrow, he's just a friend.

I was just so happy that i started running again and turned back and shouted while waving to him.

Abigail: i will, bye!

With that, i was in the house. I let Snoopy off the lead and run up the stairs but by that time i was outside my bedroom door, mum was calling me.

Pamela:Abigail, where are you going in such a hurry? slow down before you hurt yourself!

Abigail: Sorry mum, i'll slow down. 

I walked into my bed and grabbed my laptop and switched it on. 'I hate it was the laptop is slow' i thought to myself. It finally loaded up and i opened up Skype and called Aidan.On the first ring he answered.

Abigail: AIDAN!

Aidan:ABIGAIL!!!

Abigail: i've missed you so much

Aidan: you have no idea what it's like without you in New York, its not the same *he looks down*

Abigail: hey, i'll be visiting soon, don't worry. Has anything interesting happened since i've been away?

Aidan is still looking down, away from his laptop screen. Something most have happened by the way he's not anwersing.

Abigail: Aidan? there has, hasn't there?

Aidan: I'm not saying anything, you'll just get angry and upset.

Abgail: Why would i get angry and upset about? Just tell me?

Aidan: Okayy, well you didn't hear it from me then.

Abigail: okayy, i'm a little worried now.

Aidan: Well someone come back yesterday, someone from your past, and they were asking where you were.

Abigail: Please don't say it was who i think your on about? Not him, please, not him! 

I was so scared, i was panicking, i didn't know if it was going to be Noah he was going to say, but i had a strong feeling it was.

Aidan: Yeah, i'm sorry, i didn't tell him anything though. He found out from Jessica from the Cafe where you used to work at. 

Abigail: But why would he want to know where i am? I left him 2 years ago and he left new york then, why is he back now?

Aidan: I really have no idea, i'm sorry.

Abigail: It's okayy, it's not like he'll come down to San Antonio and do something to me, is it?

Aidan: No it's not, anyway how is San Antonio?

Abigail: It's really good. Mum bought me a puppy, i called him Snoopy. *i said with a smile on my face*

We talked for like an hour. It was about half 9 where i was and half 10 where Aidan was. I knew he was a early sleep but he asked a question that would take a while to finish. He asked about Austin.

Aidan: So, since you've been there, has there been any guy that you've been checking out?

Abigail: Aidan, i can't believe you just asked me that!

Aidan: oh come on, you knew i would ask.

Abigail: yeah i know, but you know what i'm like with guys and love and all that.

Aidan: i know, but maybe you should start new? Start a new book, not a sequel to the old one, a brand new one?

Abigail: Maybe your right, but there is something i have to tell you though?

Aidan: oh and what is that?

Abigail: there's a guy that's been on my mind since i saw him and it's really bugging me.

Aidan: awh, who is this lucky guy then?

Abigail: i would hardly call him lucky.

Aidan: come on, what did i tell you, stop putting yourself down, you deserve someone special like everyone else.

Abigail: i know, i know, you keep on telling me that Aidan.

Aidan: Well maybe you should listen to me then. What is this guy's name?

Abigail: Austin, he's really nice and he's really cute. He lives across the street from me.

Aidan: Awwh, it's like love at first sight.

Abigail: Shut up, you've got school in the morning you should be in bed.

Aidan: i am, way!

Abigail: you know what i mean, you should be sleeping then. 

Aidan: okayy, fine then mum. 

Abigail: Night night Son *i giggled a little*

With saying our goodbyes, i shut down Skype and my laptop and headed downstairs to see what my mum was up to.
