Chapter 8
I sit in my room fuming. Today was horrible! Ms. Carnose, Olivia, and Jolissa pulled me into a room to tell me I am crazy! I am not crazy! I really see Rebecca, but just because they don't see her they won’t believe me. or they might even think that they were crazy.
This is how the conversation went:
Ms. Carnose: Julie, we understand you miss your friend but-
Me: She is still here.
Olivia: What do you mean? She died! She’s gone!
Me: You don’t understand
Jolissa: Then tell us so we can help.
Me: I already told you all! No one believes me!!
Ms. Carnose: Really!!? You expect us to believe that she is a ghost?! She is DEAD!! Let her soul rest!
Me: HER SOUL WANTS MY LIFE!!!
Jolissa: That’s a load of-
Olivia: Nonsense! (Looks pointedly at Jolissa)You said Rebeca pushed you down the stairs and that she has been sending you threats… from beyond?
Me: (I start crying) NO! She is still here. Her soul isn’t resting at all-
(suddenly Rebecca appeared in front of me) SHE’S RIGHT THERE!!(Everyone looked around)
Olivia: There is no one else here.
Me: yes there is! Cant you see her!? She’s RIGHT THERE!
(everyone just looks at me)
Me: You still don’t believe me.
After that I ran out of the room. Olivia called after me but I just left. I wish someone would try to believe me.
