"We were a perfect match, but sadly matches burn"

I take a deep breath before walking past the cold, metal doors of Riverdale High School. With each step I took another pair of eyes lingered on me immediately making me feel self conscious. Living in a small town was dreadful, it set many limitations on yourself from others. I tug on my sleeves from my oversized bomber jacket as I walk down the never ending hall.
I run my hand through my jet black hair making the messy curls I've done this morning messier. I slide my phone out from my jeans pocket, to see I had 10 minutes till class started. I click on the Snapchat icon to reveal the camera showing my suede ankle boots, I swipe left to see my friends stories. I click on the first name that stood out, Catalina Montgomery, her story launches videos of Jade and Hannah talking nonsense towards the camera and then it is followed by Cat angrily yelling back at them. I slightly laugh reminiscing at our memories. We were all really different, yet we complimented one another. I sigh in frustration, man I really missed my girls.
My stomach growls, I could really use a snack. I walk towards the student lounge to see the most know faces of Riverdale. The Jocks, the Pussycats, Cheryl, and lastly the "sad breakfast club." I mentally scold at myself, I always tried to avoid these particular groups to avoid any attention. I was known as the new girl, along with my sister, yet it's been two weeks and I still haven't figured out "where I belong."
My stomach growled once again loudly due to not eating dinner last night. I walk in placing my backpack forward searching for my wallet. I pull out a dollar and place it between my lips, swinging my backpack behind adjusting the straps. The dollar bill is snatched out of my lips earning a few deep chuckles from a particular group. I look up too see the one and only Chuck Clayton. In a small town like Riverdale, everyone knew each other, yet no one knew a single thing about me. Just of me.
"Well look what we got here, little Elyse" Chuck teased hovering over me as he shoved the dollar bill in his jeans, "Thank you for the donation."
"Shut up. Give me back my money, Chuck." I state clearly annoyed, this is why I try to avoid all contact.
"No. Make me." Chuck smirked crossing his arms across his chest. The boys snickered and everyone else stayed quite just starring from their seats.
"So no ones going to do shit, y'all are just going to sit there and stare?" I raise my brows looking at everyone's unease expressions. "Sorry I don't shit out money, so if you don't mind Clayton. I'll take my money back." I shove my hand into his pocket pulling out my dollar bill.
"Feisty, I like it when you take charge. How about you meet me here after school, maybe you can show me what else you can do?" Chuck licks his lips stepping forward, our chests nearly touching.
"Of course, why not give everyone a show now?" I smirk leaning into a kiss and immediately kneeling him in his sack. The girls gasped and the boys winced at the thought, Chuck groans in pain crouching down trying to regain his breath. All eyes followed me as I simply walk past him and insert my dollar bill into the vending machine. Pressing 2 followed by B, the muffin fell down. I reach down pushing the black door up and grab it.
I walk past him once again, "I'm sorry did it hurt? It was on accident, I didn't mean to do it. Are we still on for after school?" It was my time to smirk. The entire room was silent just starring with wide eyes wondering what I would do next as I walk towards the other jocks. "Pull a stunt like that and there will be more reckoning." I say blowing a kiss as I walked out and headed towards Pre-AP English.
