"All right! Let's do this." Tall Boy shouts as everyone cheers.

"Not the kind of drag race I've ever imagined myself going to, but at least the guys are hot." Kevin said nonchalantly as he was checking out some of the Ghoulies members. Agreeing I raise my red cup towards him.

The race was between the Southside Serpents and the Ghoulies, both gangs of the Southside. Street Racing was one of the Ghoulies favorite activities to do, which is why Jughead Jones challenged them, for territory, meaning the winner would take full control over Southside, including all the properties that were owned by the Serpents. That was if the Ghoulies won, if the Serpents won, the drug dealings would have to stop.

"Let's do it!" Tall Boy shouts once again, this time everyone cheers and raises their red cups. I glance over to my right to see the serpents leaning against their motorcycles. Only one serpent caught my attention, yet this time he wasn't wearing his leather jacket. I ponder, he would always wear his jacket showing his loyalty he wouldn't miss it at such an invent like this. He sat there wearing his signature dog collar tags, a black, jean jacket layered above a stripped flannel and brown shirt paired with the classic black jeans and boots. His name was Sweet Pea.

"Elyse, stop drooling!" Kevin whispers loud enough for me to hear

"Elyse, stop drooling!" Kevin whispers loud enough for me to hear. Oops, I felt my cheeks heat up and I focused my attention at the site in front of me.

"Get these cars up on the road!" Tall boy shouts.

Before Jughead and Malachai began racing against one another for the winner to take all, the two shook hands on there bet. "Race over Herk Harvey Bridge ti Dead Man's curve,  first one back here wins." Jughead let's go, both boys enter their cars.

Toni stood behind the cars waiting to be handed a cloth to wave, yet to be replaced by the one and only Cheryl Blossom.

"Uh, I usually do the honors." Toni says standing in disbelief.

"Not today, Cha-Cha!" Cheryl chirps walking towards the the front of the cars. "I was born for this moment."

While the both gang members were getting their engines warmed up, while waiting for the wave of Cheryl's fag.

"Engines warm and ready, gentlemen?" Cheryl asks before placing on her shades. She raises her arms and in her mark, the race officially began.

While the two members raced against each other against the clock, Jughead took the lead first, while Malachai swerved his car into Jugheads in order for him to be given an advantage, later taking the lead in front of Jughead. After that both cars disappeared no longer being able to see from afar, we had to play the waiting game.

As we waited for a car to return a Ghoulie ran back to warn everyone. "Everyone scatter! The cops are rounding up Ghoulies!"

After the authorities caught Malachai red-handed, A black car was the first and only car in sight returning. Archie and Jughead retreated back to where the race began hoping out the car.
