When I was fully dressed, I felt like a Queen. A beautiful purple gown, trimmed with gold hung all the way to the floor in the back but was raised in the front to show off the glass high heels I wore. The dress formed to all my curves perfectly and the heels had diamonds encrusted into them. They were open toed so I was glad that I had painted my toenails with the nail polish I found in the vanity.

Isaac gave me a necklace made of all diamonds and in the center was a large black one. I knew it was far more expensive than any amount of cash I could ever earn so I felt awkward wearing it. There was also a bracelet that matched the necklace that resembled a checkerboard with the patterned black and white diamonds. Isaac had waited out in the hall as I brushed out my hair and applied makeup. The room was filled with every different kind of hair product and makeup supplies.

When I looked into the full length mirror, I felt like a different person and even looked like it. I called out for Isaac in my mind and soon after the door clicked open. In walked Isaac and to say he looked shocked is an understatement, he had stopped in his tracks and stared at me with his hungry eyes.

"You already want some more," I asked with a laugh as I walked towards him.

He stood there, perfectly still, as if he was about to snap but I didn't mind I just walked around him towards the open door. He never moved just stayed facing the area I was just standing.

"Come on you frozen statue. You're going to make me late for my own party," I joked as I waited for him to move.

He snapped out of his statuesque state and spun around to face me, "Now, I wouldn't want you to go by yourself, looking the way you do. You need someone, such as I, to complete that ensemble, mio amore."

Isaac winked as he said that last part and began to laugh as he held out his arm for me to take. We walked down the hall looking like royalty, and headed towards the grand staircase. One of the rooms to the left, in the hall, opened up and Delorn stepped out. He didn't have a scowl on his face anymore. He had cleaned up very well, his outfit included a classic black suit pants and a white long sleeved collared shirt. Delorn's hair was brushed out and fell down his back.

"Delorn, are you joining us for the celebration," I asked with a smile on my face. It was obvious that he was but I wanted to be polite.

Delorn was a man who had seen to much tragedy and I could tell by his eyes that it still haunted him. Tonight, I had reopened his scars, figuratively, and he was still dressed up to celebrate a party for me. I felt compelled to give him a hug, so without any of the men capable of stopping me, I rushed into his arms and hooked my arms around his neck. He didn't return the gesture but I still held on and than tiptoed up to kiss his cheek before stepping away, back into Isaac's arms.

"I'm sorry for what I did earlier, I shouldn't have done that. I don't know how to control my powers, so I'm going to make some mistakes. I hope you'll forgive me."

Without looking back to see if Isaac, or both, were following, I headed down the grand staircase.

At the foot of the stairs stood Jonah, he looked really handsome in a hand tailored suit, with his hair spiked up. Jonah's warm brown eyes brightened when he saw me, he held out his arm for me to grab.

I grabbed his offered arm, smiled, and said, "So you've decided to take a break from reading to celebrate my arrival, have you?"

He returned my smile with one of his own, "Wouldn't miss it for the world." We headed around the banister, to a door built into the staircase, instantly it sprang open.

Eli was waiting on the other side with a closed mouth smile spread across his face. He bowed at the waist and gestured for us to walk inside. Immediately, I was aware that I had assumed since there wasn't any music or chatter was because I had arrived early. But it appeared that I was entering late.
