Someone was carrying me, wrapped in a blanket, into the cabin. Slowly, I blinked fogginess out of my vision to see Quinton's worried face.

I smiled up at him, "Heyyy.. Come here often?"

He laughed slightly and shook his head, "Only you would joke at a time like this. You're amazing, you know that? I can't believe what you pulled back there."

He brushed my hair out of my face as he carried me up the stairs. "I don't feel so amazing right now. I can't even remember what happened. The only thing I can recall is that psychotic lone wolf attacking my dad. Oh my Thoth, how is he? Is he alright?"

"He's fine," he replied as we reached my bedroom at the top of the stairs. Quinn carried me inside, walked over the mess on the floor as if he'd done it a thousand times before, and gently laid me on my bed. My lips felt dry so I tried to wet them with my tongue, until I felt a sweet flavor on them. Taking my finger, I reached up and swiped at my mouth and pulled it back. My finger came back crusted with blood.

"Why is there blood on my mouth, Quinn?" I dragged myself upright and leaned against the nicely polished headboard of my bed.

He seemed to be thinking about what to say, as I demanded, "Why am I naked?"

"Theo, calm down. You saved your father's life. Some shape shifting Sekhmetian attacked your dad and he was badly injured. The rest of the pack couldn't get to him in time and we had all thought you'd both die. You were right there and everyone was watching as you moved almost in a blur. There was this big bright flash of a light and there you were a huge red wolf with your jaws bloody, crawling towards your father. You were huge! The same size as the Alpha! You healed him and everyone was afraid to come near you because we didn't know if you remembered who we were until you shifted back into your own skin."

"So your saying... I shape shifted.. Into a huge wolf. Killed some wolf.."

"It wasn't a wolf nor a Werewolf. It was a Sekhmetian and you killed him so fast no one even saw you do it."

"..... Okay, so, I did all this shit and I don't remember? AWESOME." I swung my legs to the right side of the bed and got off of it to head to the restroom that was connected to my bedroom.

The water was cool as it splashed on to my face. Thanking myself for once for having clothes strewn across the bathroom, I threw on a pair of boxers and a baggy black Element shirt. Once I felt clean, I headed back into the bedroom where I left Quinton and found him talking with Catrina. Cat sprang up as if she was sitting on some hot coals and ran towards me to swoop me into a big wolf hug.

"I'm so proud to call you my sister, Theo! You saved daddy out there, I couldn't get to him nor you in time."

"Some reason, I don't feel like I should be afforded your praise. That wolf or Sekhmetian was probably looking for me. I think he was coming for me, and dad was in the way."

Everyone sat in silence until the door opened up and our Alpha walked in as if nothing had happened. At least on the outside he looked fine, I made sure to scan for any injuries that I might have missed, before running over to give him a hug. He swooped me up like he used to when I was a kid.

Burying my face in his neck, I murmured, "I'm so sorry. I almost got you killed, daddy."

"You didn't honey," he answered as he set me on my feet and brushed my curly hair behind my ears, "You didn't know and you still killed him to protect me."

I looked back at Quinn and Cat, they both seemed embarrassed. Probably had to do with the tears streaming down my face, both had hardly ever seen me cry.
