On an early Monday morning, you, Shanon, and your beloved boyfriend, Xu MingHao, were already up and on the road to work.
"MingHao, make sure you don't overwork yourself, okay?" you said.
He smiled while nodding. "I know, you don't have to worry so much about me, I will always remember everything you say," he softly said with his eyes on the road.
"Okay then. You better take good care of yourself," your words made him chuckle.
"You remind me of my mother when you talk like this," he joked, making you lightly hit his arm.
"Don't say that!" you pouted, crossing your arms while turning towards the window.
He smiled at you, using his left hand to hold your right hand. "Why? You don't like my mom?" he teased you.
You immediately shook your head, denying the false words.
"It's not like that! She is a great woman. It's just that..." you hesitated. He curiously glanced at you.
"That?" he asked.
"That... Never mind! It's nothing important," you shook your head, telling him it's nothing. He looked at you before shrugging, putting his focus back to the road.
The whole journey was silence.

When you guys arrived at your destination, you and MingHao part ways to your own departments. Before separating, he promised you to meet up at the cafeteria at lunch.
"Morning, Shanon!" your closest friend and colleague, Sylvia, went to greet you as soon as she saw you.
As you settled on your seat, the both of you started to talk. "So, Sylvia, is your boyfriend taking good care of you?" you asked, with a sudden fierce look on your face.
"Uhm, can you not look at me like that?" she said while rolling her eyes.
"You will have to tell me if he is treating you well or not first," you continued to fiercely stare at her.
"And who is 'he'?" she jokingly asked.
"'He' is your man!" you exclaimed, making the both of you burst out laughing.

Not long later, it is time for lunch break. You and Sylvia headed to the cafeteria to meet your lovers. At the cafeteria, a sight made your excited smile fade and tears start to fall from your eyes.
The one and only MingHao is has his arms tightly wrapped around another girl, their lips together.
After a second, you recovered from the shock. "M-MingHao?" he only noticed your presence after you called out to him. He quickly pulled away before running to you.
"B-baby," he stuttered.
"Don't call me 'baby'!" you cut him off. "You just made out with another girl, and you still dare to call me 'baby'!" you shouted at him, hatred filling up your whole body.
He suddenly grabbed your hands. "Shanon, please don't be mad. It's all just a misunderstanding..." he said, using a sweet voice.
Disgusted, you violently pulled away your hands. "Shut up!" you declared.
The whole cafeteria became silent, including MingHao. He looked at you wide eyes.
"Who is she? What is she to you? Why were the both of you so 'sweetly' kissing? How long have you been together? Who is the side chick, me or her? Answer me!" you shouted, you voice echoing powerfully in the still cafeteria.
Seeing no response, you scoffed.
"Forget it. I don't want to be with such a cheater. Let's break up," you bluntly said before walking off, Sylvia trailing behind you. Instead of chasing after you, he stood there, frozen.
After a while, the cafeteria resumed to its usual routine, plus some glares shot at him.
"MingHao... How dare you?" the woman slapped him before stalking off.
From that day onwards, you cut off everything that has to do with MingHao. And for good measures, you moved in with Sylvia, luckily you have her.
Since then, he is forever known as the worst cheater to you.
