I walk as quietly as I can behind Kim and Nilesy, holding my flashlight in one hand.

"Alright. We'll head to the weapon store first, and I guess if we don't have tons of those things after us, we head to the supermarket." Nilesy says and we shrug and follow him to the weapon store.

We enter as quietly as we can and then split up, and I find a gun with some ammo, and a knife.

I put all of my gear into my bag and smiles as I see a sword

I hear a scream and runs to it, and finds Kim on the ground, holding a knife and a thing is on top of her, trying to bite at her face.

"Kim!" I yell and stabs the things head and it falls, and I help Kim up, and she has pure terror in her eyes.

"Hannah, get... get Nilesy and get out of here." She says and her eyes meet mine as I shake my head.

"No, Kim. Why would we leave you? You're a part of this group." I say and she glares at me and pulls up her pant leg.

"Hannah, I got bit! Get Nilesy and get out of here." She yells and more walkers start stumbling in the building.

"Nilesy! Nilesy, we have to leave!" I yell and I see him racing towards us, and I explain what happened.

"No! Kim, please. You're not bit. Please come with us." He begs and I shoot my gun at the things, and takes a few out.

"Go! I'll hold them off." she says, placing a gun in my hand and then shoves us away and runs at the things with a knife in each hand, and I pull Nilesy away.

We dash out the back door, and Nilesy starts to turn back when we here Kim's screams, but I stop him.

"We have to keep going. She's gone." I say, crying and he looks at me, clearly in grief and pain at this, and I remember what he told me, years ago.

That he loved her.

I grab his hand and pulls him away from Kim's agonized screams and we run into the forest, and we stop, climbing up a tall tree.

We sit there, leaning on each other and crying, and I remember the line of purple in her short black hair, her bright cheery eyes.

We fall asleep in that tree, and I know that neither of us will ever forget this, or her.

------

The next morning, we head out of Bristol, and Nilesy's still very affected by Kim's sudden death, as am I, but not as much.

"Hey, hey Nilesy. We got some things coming up." I say and he just stares blankly at me.

"Hannah, I miss her. I miss Kim so much. Why didn't I just protect her? Why did I leave her side." He says as I shoot a walker, and I stare at him.

"Nilesy! Help me out!" I yell and he just pulls his knife out and runs at the things, and I scream as he stabs ones head, and then vanishes under the group.

"Nilesy! Nilesy no!" I yell and the things move towards me and I climb a tree, pulls my knees to my chest and cries, grief racking me.

The things finally move on after a long while, and I climb down, and stumbles to Nilesy's side.

"Why would you leave me alone? Nilesy! Why did you do that?" I whisper as I look down at his hopeless body.

His black hair is now tangled and blood covers it, and his glasses are broken beyond repair. His bright eyes are now dull, and i close them, trying to ignore the middle of his stomach that's been torn apart by stupid zombies.

I kiss his bloody head and then grabs his pack, guns and the knife and walks away, not even knowing where I'm headed.

A/N:

Gah, I am so sorry for making Kim and Nilesy did! I had to though... for da book!

Seriously though, I love Nilesy and Kim both, and yeah... I just had to do it.

Don't worry, the deaths will die down, for now.
