A/N- Okay, so until Hannah wakes up from her unconscious state, the book will be in Lewis's p.o.v.

I might have one more chapter before she wakes up, but maybe not.

---------------------------------------

I re-wrap Hannah's wound, and I feel relieved that the bleeding had gone down some, and she's breathing a bit more normally, but I'm still worried that she hasn't woken up yet.

"Lewis. How's she holding up?" Zoey asks in a quiet voice and I look up, my dark eyes tired.

"She's getting better, I think." I say back and Martyn comes over.

"Mate, you need to get some sleep. You haven't slept ever since she got hurt. We can watch her. If anything changes, I'll wake you up." Martyn says, placing a hand on my shoulder.

"No, no I'm fine." I say back, but I'm battling exhaustion, and they can both see it.

But I don't want to leave her side.

"Lewis, you've spent months looking after us. Now just listen for one second. You have to get some sleep. We have to have someone to lead us through this." Zoey says and I sigh, and finally gives in.

"Fine. But if anything happens to her, I want you to wake me up. Got it?" I say and they both nod, and I still see the grief glittering in Martyn and Zoey's eyes, and I know that they are grieving Duncan's death.

I lay down and falls asleep almost instantly.

-----------------

I dream of three things while I'm out: Duncan's deal with me, his death and Hannah risking herself for me.

I have a nightmarish flashes, where Hannah doesn't make it, and she dies in my arms.

I jolt awake, sweat covering my faces and I sit up, and looks over at Hannah.

Zoey sits with her now, and Martyn's guarding our little camp.

He's grown up in the past few days, going on supply runs by himself, and getting the supplies we need to stay alive.

Zoeys been keeping watch, and tending to Hannah with me, and talking with Martyn.

I get up and walks over and sits by the fire, and Martyn sits next to me.

"You rested up now?" He says and I shrug.

"More or less. How long was I out?" I say and he pauses to think for a moment.

"Bout a half a day. So not to bad." Martyn replies and glances at Zoey over his shoulders.

"He'd be proud of you, Martyn. Duncan, I mean. He'd be proud of how far you've come and what you've become." I say and he looks at me with grief.

"Yeah, I know. That's what Zoey keeps saying. I just feel like his death is my fault. I feel like, that I could have kept him from leaving." Martyn says and I start to comfort him, but Zoey calls us over in what sounds like surprise.

"Lewis, Martyn! She's bloody awake!" Zoey says and I rush over and crouches by Hannah's side, and her beautiful eyes flicker open, and she moans in pain.

"Lew-Lewis?" She whispers, and I grab her hand, my dark eyes burning into her half open light ones.

"Yeah, yeah it's me Hannah. I'm right here. I'm not going anywhere, I promise." I say and kisses her hand that I'm holding and she closes her eyes with a sigh.

"Good. Cause I can lose you yet." She whispers and drifts back into unconsciousness, and I close my eyes and presses my forehead to our hands.

"She's gonna be ok. Hannah's gonna live!" Martyn crys and Zoey laughs joyously.

They run to the fire to eat, and I stay by her side, a smile gracing my lips, because now I know that she'll be okay.
