Crashing Down Chapter 2

Daniel sees you there crying.

D- "Yo wait guys hold on. Is she crying?"

He points to you.

Z- "Wait I think she is."

Daniel comes running over to you.

D- "Hey what's wrong?"

M- "She's my best friend... she got a call and now she's like this. I don't know what happened. Daniel sits next to you and pulls you into a hug. Your head is in his chest and you're sitting there sobbing, feel like there is nothing that can make you feel better. Daniel James Seavey is freaking hugging you and it doesn't even help.

M- "Wait the person is still on her phone."

Meg picks up your phone.

M- "Hello? What happened why is Y/N crying?"

?- "I'm sorry... her parents got in a bad car accident... they are in surgery now."

Meg drops your phone and cups her face in her hands. Daniel looks up at Meg confused on what is happening.

D- "What happened?"

M- "H-h-her parents are in the hospital... they got in a bad car accident..."

D- "Oh my god..."

Daniel's grip on you tightens. He sways back and forth with you in his arms. He puts rests his head on yours.

D- "What's her name?"

M- "Y/N"

D- "Hey Y/N it's okay... it'll be okay..."

Jonah, Zach, Jack, and Corbyn all come running over.

Jo- "Yo dude what happened?"

Z- "We have to continue."

D- "Guys her freaking parents just got into a bad car accident! Give her a minute my god!"

Z- "Oh my god I-I'm so sorry."

They all rub your back.

D- "You guys can continue I'm gonna go take her out of here and sit with her."

The line of girls behind you were recording everything and they all were sad for you. Daniel helps you up and grabs your phone. He is still hugging you as he leads you back stage to get away from everyone. You sit on the floor leaning up against a wall.

D- "Hey I'll be right back I'm going to get you some water."

You look up at him with a tear stained face. He looks down at you... he looks as if he might cry. He quickly gets up and goes to get water. Meg sits down and takes over Daniel's job and hugs you.

M- "They're gonna be okay..."

Y/N- "T-t-this is m-my fault... I-I-I should have driven..."

M- "No Y/N don't do this to yourself. This is not your fault. They wanted to drive you. You could not have known this would happen."

You start coughing because you start crying harder. Meg's grip tightens and rubs your back.

M- "Shhhh it'll be okay."

Daniel comes running back with water and a security guard following him. He turns back to see the security guard following him.

D- "Hey it's fine I don't need a security guard."

Guard- "She can't be back here. That is what your manager said."

D- "Well tell him I'm sorry, but she's staying back here!"

Guard- "...okay."

The security guard turns around and runs back to tell the manager. Daniel gets to you and Meg and hand Meg water.

D- "Did she say anything?"

M- "Just that she thinks it's her fault."

Meg starts tearing up.

M- "It's not her fault. Her parents insisted on driving us so we didn't have to pay for parking."

D- "Hey Y/N do not blame yourself. You could not have stopped this. They made the decision to bring you."

He puts his hand on your back to help comfort you. A few minutes you hear the stomping of feet. Suddenly they stop.

Cop- "Excuse me... are you Y/N?"

You look up to see a cop looking at you. You felt like a little girl next to him. You try to say that you are Y/N, but nothing comes out. Meg sees you struggling and helps you.

M- "Yeah this is Y/N..."

You look up at Meg and with your eyes you tell her thank you.

D- "What do you need her for? It's fine I told her she could come back here."

Cop- "No that's not why I'm here... I'm here to take her to the hospital so she can be with her parents."

D- "Oh... okay... here Y/N, let me help you up."

Meg releases her tight grip and slowly stands up. She wipes the tears out from under her eyes. Daniel grabs your arm to help you up. He holds onto you as you walk out of the venue to the cop's car. The cop opens the door for you to get in. Daniel let's go of your arm and gives you a hug. You finally have the courage and you hear words come out of your mouth.

Y/N- "Thank you." you say so quietly it was a whisper.

D- "It'll be okay, just keep your head up."

Daniel steps out of the hug and looks at you. He wipes the tears off your face and softly kisses your forehead. Meg crawls i to the car and you follow.You take one last look and Daniel then close the door and the cop drives off...
