Crashing Down Chapter 5

*At lunch*

Y/N- "Come on Meg I want to get back to my mom."

M- "Where is she gonna go. Come on my job is to make you happy."

Y/N- "If you want me happy bring me back to the hospital."

M- "Okay... fine we'll get the food to go."

Y/N- "Thank you."

M- "Yeah... come on let's go."

We grab our food and go back to the hospital. I run back inside and accidentally run into someone that was leaving.

Y/N- "Sorry."

I don't turn around to see who it is, but they grab my arm and I turn around.

Y/N- "Daniel...?... What are you doing here?"

D- "Well I was looking for you..."

Y/N- "Oh..."

D- "You didn't check you dms."

Y/N- "Sorry I haven't been on my phone all day."

D- "I came to see if you're okay and your parents... I talked to you dad. I'm glad he's okay."

Y/N- "Yeah..."

D- "Are you okay?"

Y/N- "Yeah I'm fine."

D- "Are you sure?"

Y/N- "Yeah... thanks for yesterday."

D- "Oh there is no need to thank me. I just did what anyone else would have done."

You don't make eye contact with him and try to crack a smile.

D- "So... is your mom okay?"

Y/N- "I honestly don't know..."

You feel the tears start to film your eyes. Stay strong don't cry you thought to yourself. He lifts your head up and looks into your eyes.

D- "Hey what's wrong?"

You can't hold back your tears they start streaming down your cheeks.

Y/N- "I-I-I don't know if she's going to be okay... no one knows..."

He pulls you into a hug.

D- "Hey just think positive you'll get through this. Whatever happens happens for a reason."

Y/N- "How am I supposed to think positive when my mom could die?"

D- "Come on you just have to think positive."

I tuck my head into his chest as I let my tears fall.

D- "I'll be here for you."

My voice sounds muffled with my face against his chest.

Y/N- "You're famous... how are you supposed to be here for me?"

D- "I might be famous, but that doesn't mean I won't be here for you."

Y/N- "Why do you even care?"

D- "Why do I care? Because a sweet girl like you doesn't deserve this... no one does. And I want to do whatever I can to help."

Y/N- "But there are so many other fans that have worse problems... why me?"

D- "Because I was there when you got the news. I saw how broken you were. I don't know okay... can't you just be happy it's you..."

Y/N- "I'm happy it's me, but I don't deserve it."

When Daniel hears those words he peels you off his chest and looks at you.

D- "Are you serious y/n... You don't deserve me helping you? No don't say that you do deserve it, but even if you didn't you should be thankful. You do deserve it though. You don't deserve what happened to your mom, but you deserve people who are here for you. Don't ever say you don't deserve anything because you do."

You wipe away your tears.

Y/N- "I should go see my mom..."

D- "Wait y/n!"

I turn around to Daniel.

Y/N- "What?"

D- "Just check your dms... if you ever need me just dm me and I'll be here."

Y/N- "Okay..." Daniel turns around, "Daniel..." he turns back around to you, "thank you."

He smiles then walks out of the door to the boys' car. And just like that they drive off...
