HE paused in the middle of playing and beckoned me over. i was leaning against the wall farthest from him and closest to the door.
"dahee, are you really going to stand there all day?" he looked up from the piano. "i dunno, i kind of like it here." i answered with a playful smile.
he rolled his eyes and scratched behind his ear. "ah just c'mere." he groaned. sighing dramatically, i pushed off the wall and walked the short distance to him.
he scooted on the piano bench, making space for me. i sat next to him, instantly feeling warmth radiating from his body to mine as his arm brushed against mine lightly.
he resumed playing again and i instinctively shut my eyes, allowing the melody to fill my senses. then it stopped. my eyes snapped open and i looked at him in question.
"i want to see you dance." his voice was low, soft. "hm?" i hummed in confusion. "i want to see you transform my piece into dance. it'd be nice to see a visual translation of my music."
"n-now?" my eyes went big. his head moved in a nod. "i've seen you dance lots of times now but never to something that i wrote."
"yoongi..." i started. "please." he cut me off with that one word full of emotion. i sighed in defeat. "fine."
just watching the way his face lit up with his infamous gummy smile was enough for me.
so i danced, letting the music move my body. i stopped when the music stopped, turning to him.
he just gawked at me. "yoongi?" i waved my hand, letting out an awkward laugh. he blinked. "sorry, you're just such a great dancer. that was so beautiful."
i smiled, tucking my hair behind my ears. "thank you. it's the same way i feel about your music." i leaned forward on the piano, eyes on my fidgeting fingers.
i still wasn't used to yoongi staring at me without hiding.
