His name was Kendall, Kendall Brookes. I had the DR’s choose him for me because of a dream I pretended to have. I chose him for two reasons. First, I could tell he was kind of in to me by the way he looked at me both in class, and in the hall way, so I knew I could at least make ONE person happy before I left. Second, he was the kind of guy it wouldn’t matter if you left him behind. No matter what, if you were honest with him, not only would he be ok with whatever crazy stunt you were about to pull, he would help better it, and take care of anything that needed to be done behind the scenes. So I knew I could depend on him to break the news to the few friends I had and yell at whoever was happy that I was gone for me. I walked up to him as he was pouring his punch. I snuck up behind him and covered his eyes with my hands. “Guess who?” “Um… a unicorn? Wait I’ve got it, it’s a cloud!!” XD I’d forgotten how much he could make me laugh, maybe I’d miss that when I was gone. “What do you say to dancing with me?” He said, sipping the last bit of punch I’d allowed him to pour. “That sounds great.” I said with a smile. We danced around a little crazily for a while, until suddenly, the dance music changed to a slow dance. (I know you saw this coming) “May I?” he asked, holding out his hand. “You may.” I said with a slight bit of humor and cockiness. As we danced around the beautifully decorated dance floor, I thought of how much I would miss this place. It was a great town, but only for normal people. It’s dangerous for me. My parents proved that point already. I was so completely lost in thoughts, that I almost forgot I was dancing. Then, Kendall spoke up. “Is something wrong?” “Huh? Oh, sorry, just, lost in thoughts I guess.” “What about?” “I can’t exactly tell you here.” “Follow me then.” The song ended, and he led me outside, sitting me down on a bench around the corner of the building. “Now, what’s up?” “Ok, so I have a plan.” His expression instantly changed from a look of concern to a look that only he gave. The kind of look that showed he was prepared for what came ahead, ready for whatever happened next. “So, I’m not exactly normal.” “Define normal.” he said smirking. I explained how different I really was, and how dangerous it was to stay, after a while he started nodding in agreement. I knew he would understand. After I finished explaining, He stayed silent for a while, and then simply said, “So what’s the plan?”

Hey, so sorry this chapter is so short; I’m not sure how she should escape. I have a general idea of what I want to happen, but I’m not sure how to get there…. The next chapter might not be up tomorrow night, so plz don’t be mad. :/
