"When you get old, what do you think your kids will ask you to tell stories about?" Agent Zara Khanna questioned, throwing a tennis ball into the air and catching it as she spoke.

She had thick dark brown hair that fell down past her shoulders. Her skin was the beautiful color of coffee after adding a little bit of cream or milk to it. Her eyes were chocolate brown, nearly matching her dark hair. She was from India but had been raised in Vancouver, Canada most of her life.

"Oh! I know!" Agent Eric Raycer shot out of the desk he had been lounging in and nearly broke the snow globe he slammed down on the desk. "Do you remember that mission in Tashkent, Gentry?"

Raycer was a fairly tall caucasian male with light brown hair that fell down to his shoulders and light brown scruff covering his face. His eyes were a piercing shade of blue. He was from Yorkshire, England, this was evident in his English accent.

"Back when you were just starting out?" A tall, scruffy older man was stretched out on the small sofa with his hands behind his back.

This was Agent Michael Gentry. He was the eldest and the most experienced of the S.H.I.E.L.D. agents in the room. With salt-pepper hair and a charming smile, he was people person.

"Yeah." Raycer nodded his head enthusiastically.

"You almost got me killed, kid. That is not a story you're tellin your offspring."

"Oh, I am definitely telling my children that." The agent nodded his head with a chuckle. "It was a great mission. We did great together. Have I ever told you guys about Tashkent?"

"Yes!" Agent Kevin Williams shouted at the same time Zara did. The two met each others' gaze for a moment before Kevin continued to speak. "You tell me about Tashkent one more time, pretty boy, and I will take clippers to your hair while you're sleeping."

"You wouldn't!" Raycer gasped.

The door to the office opened and in walked a woman in a black skirt with pink flowers on the material, a pair of thigh high black socks, and a pink sweater. A pair of black heels adorned her feet and made a rhythmical clicking noise as she walked. The woman's midnight black hair was down and straightened.

"There she is!" Kevin threw his hands into the air as he stood up from one of the chairs in front of the desk.

"What are you guys doing in my office?" Delaney Valente asked with crinkled eyebrows and an uneasy smile on her lips. Were they planning something?

"You've been gone for so long, love." Raycer moved out from behind Valente's desk and went to hug her.

"I only went to run errands for Hill. I was gone maybe three hours."

"He was messing with Jupiter." Zara sighed out, joining the two in a little huddle.

"You messed with my baby!" Delaney exclaimed, smacking Raycer's arm as she passed him to go to the terrarium in the corner of her office. Inside the terrarium was a purple corn snake.

"Don't worry, I was only trying to scare Gentry. I wanted to induce a heart attack on the old bastard."

"Watch your language in here!" Delaney scolded Raycer. "And be nice to Gentry. He doesn't need you to remind him he's old."

"I am proud of my age." Gentry grunted as he sat up on the small sofa. "I am still able to do things you kids can't even imagine, and the ladies and gents love me."

"Keep telling yourself that, silverfox." Kevin chuckled.

"I do, every morning in the mirror before I have to come see you shitheads. You are the reason I have so much gray hair!"
