Delaney made her way around the conference table as she poured coffee into everyone's cups.

"Hey what happened this morning, Valente?" Tony asked as she moved from him to Bruce. "Someone said you had a panic attack and a few others said you had a bad seizure."

"What happened is none of your business, Stark." Steve spoke for Delaney.

"Don't start arguing, you two." Hill told them as she walked into the conference room. A few agents were behind her, one of them being Agent Gentry. "And Valente can speak for herself, Captain Rogers."

All eyes fell on to Delaney, who was now filling Clint's cup with hot coffee.

"Erm...." Her eyes met Hill's. Hill did say that she could tell them about her powers but did Delaney want them to know?

"You're gonna overflow my cup, Valente!" Clint exclaimed. Delaney pulled the coffee pot away and gave Tony a smile.

"It was nothing, Mr. Stark. Just a little misunderstanding, that's all."

"Right." Tony rolled his eyes.

"Thank you for setting up, Valente." Hill directed her assistant's attention away from the Iron Man. "I believe I heard Agents Khanna and Greenway say that you were needed in Sector Echo."

"I will head right over there, Commander Hill."

"You can do that after you put Jupiter in your office."

"Yes, ma'am." Delaney nodded her head. "I'll see you guys later!"

Her eyes briefly met Loki's and she lightly smiled before making her way to the door.

"Eww." Gentry muttered as she passed him. Delaney stuck her tongue out at him. "Hey, if you go out later get me something from Angelo's."

"Please?" Delaney turned around to face him with raised brows.

"Please." He rolled his eyes.

"Of course! You want the usual?"

"Please."

"I'll have it in your office in a few hours!" Delaney called over her shoulder as she started to walk down the hallway.

"You're the greatest, doll!"

"I know!"

"I never pictured you as a liar."

Delaney stopped in her tracks and turned to face Loki. He was slowly approaching her with an expression on his face that Delaney couldn't read. That only made her uneasy.

"Excuse me?"

"You lied so easily in front of the Avengers when you were asked about this morning's events. And you were quite well at it."

"I didn't lie." She shook her head gently.

"I am not as stupid as everyone else around here, woman. I know a lie when I see one." Loki spoke quietly. Delaney looked around the hallway but it was empty. "What really happened this morning?" He questioned, his tone anything but friendly. He took a step towards Delaney and she took a few steps back.

"I can't say."

"You aren't aware of most of the things I am capable of doing. It'd be wise to answer my questions."

Delaney searched his blue eyes, her eyebrows crinkled together just slightly.

"Why are you so eager to know?" She took another step back but hit the wall.
