I wake up to Ash nudging me. It's still dark out. I push Ash's headphones off and sit up.
"We're back." Ash whispers.
Ash and I get out and shut the doors softly. Cosma stays in the car. She's having the driver take her to the front entrance of her school, rather than trekking through the woods.
Ash and I wave as she leaves, the car pulling away from the path leading to the school. Ash and I start to walk.
"Do you want me to walk with you to your room?"
I look at him and smile softly.
"Sure."
We get to my door and I pull out my key. I unlock my door and step into my room. I turn around and look at Ash.
"Well, I should get going."
"Yeah...."
Ash turns around and starts to walk away.
"Wait!"
He slowly turns back.
"Will you stay with me?"
He nods, and walks back into my room, shutting the door behind him. He flips off the light and we walk to my bed. Lying down, I curl into his chest. He hugs me tight, and I grip onto his shirt.
"I love you."
"I love you too."
