Sleepover //chapter 4

Your POV

I stayed in Tyler's room while he went to get some extra blankets and pillows. I took this time to take in his room. It was a nice shade of blue and it was small but quite big. It had a window seat which was my favourite part of the room. I sat on the window seat while I waited for Tyler to return. It had two blue cushions and a small black blanket resting on it.

"Okay so I could only find one blanket. I couldn't find another pillow" Tyler said as he walked through the door, snapping me out of my thoughts. "Oh okay...that's okay" I grinned. "Oh!" It just dawned on me, "I have to ask my mum if it's alright if I can stay here tonight" I said. I pulled out my phone and texted my mum.

You: hey mama is it okay if I stay at Tyler's house tonight??
Mama 💞: there won't be any funny business will there? ;)
You: mum! He's just a friend! Plus, your my mum, why would you say that?!
Mama💞: hey, ask any mum. They will say the exact same thing
You: whatever. So can I?
Mama💞: yes sweetie. Just please oh mercy use protection
You: MUM!!
Mama💞: I love you hun
You: love you too just stop being so weird. Tyler is just a friend
Mama💞: sure ;)
You: I don't care. I'm leaving.
Mama💞: love you sweetie. Be nice to your future mother-in-law
You: bye mum
Mama💞: love you

I sighed and let out a small chuckle. I didn't realise but it caught Tyler's attention. "Are you okay?" He asked, setting the blanket on the bed and walking over to me. "Yeah, I'm fine thanks" I smiled and rubbed my face. I can't believe my very own mother thinks Tyler is my boyfriend...I mean he is cute and, well, so am I. Jeez, altitude to full of yourself there calm down.

"You sure?" He pressed. He sat down next to mean the window seat and crossed his legs overreach other. "Yeah, I'm good" I grinned. He gave me a smile and a thumbs up. I chuckled and leaned my back against the wall, bringing my knees to my chest. "Are you cold?" He asked, noticing my previous moments. I nodded slightly and looked out the window. I could see some rain drops hitting the window quite violently. It started raining heavy after a while.

After about two hours of talking and watching movies, we started feeling tired. "Do you wanna sleep in my bed? I go sleep On the floor" Tyler asked. I shook my head violently. "No, no I'll sleep on the floor" he moved uncomfortably. "Are you sure? I mean-""Tyler it's fine. I'll sleep on the floor" I smiled. "Okay" I heard him murmur quietly.

He passed me the blanket and I started setting up my very own sleeping area on the carpeted floor. Once I was done, I hopped under the blanket and rolled over so I could see Tyler laying in his bed. That sounds creepy. I rolled over so I could talk to him.

"So Tyler, do you go to my school? Columbus high?" I asked while Tyler got up and turned off the main light, leaving a small lamp on his bedside table to illuminate the room. "Yeah I do. I only moved here about a month ago though" he answered. I could barely see his face while he talked. He was propped up on his elbows while he looked down at me.
