Circumstances have hurricaned their way to the intriguing town of Riverwood for Vanessa Clark to spend her life. Vanessa, being the shy and average teen, is hurled between her family crisis and her dear old friend, Drama of her social life. Trying t...
Everybody seems to be lost in their own jobs. Gossiping, chatting, laughing, running or reading. I keep walking forward, until I feel a hand against my shoulder. Dad.
"All the best for your first day, sweetie! I know you'll blend. Just stay calm.Okay? ",he smiles, letting go of my hand.
"Thanks Dad"
I know my relationship with Dad may not be great right now. But I still love him, so so much.I hug him and turn away.
He takes off and I continue to stride farther when...
BAM!!!!!
Something hits my head causing me to fall on my front against the ground.
Ouch.
Pain piercing my temples sends unforeseen jitters through my body. This ghastly pain feels like it's going to haunt me for a while.
I get up with a blurred vision, and my anxious eyes acknowledge a football lying. Did somebody do that on purpose?! I turn around to see a group of boys laughing at me.
Oh HELL NO!!!!!
You morons think it's nice to hit the new girl? Well I've got news for you buddy , you are wrong. I began clenching my fist again and start walking towards them. I was SO angry! I want to roast their asses off!!
The sudden feeling of a touch against my shoulder involuntarily stops the motion of my impatient legs.
" I wouldn't do that if I were you.", says a guy in a very feeble tone. He is blonde. Looked about my age and was cutting a sorry face in front of me.
"Why on earth would I do that? Look, you have the wrong impression. I am not the kind of girl who encourages bullying!", my emotions flare a deep scarlet.
" I totally understand how you feel. I've been there. It is completely wise right now, not to take decisions in haste, okay? Come inside. I'll explain. Please.", he sounds desperate. And I am convinced, so I listen to him. But that does not mean I'm done with those idiots! I am certainly going to get them back. Soon. I turn back and shoot an intense, sharp look, almost killing them with my eyes. Well, if looks could kill every single one of them would be burried deep, deep down and having a death party with Satan.
One of them starts to walk towards me, like he's trying to scare me but some other dude stops him. Blonde dude over here literally drags me inside.
That's when I realize, I haven't really caught a good glimpse of the campus. It is pretty big compared to my old school. We stop by a random locker and he starts to speak.
"Look, gurl...You might be new here but that doesn't mean you mess with The Lions."
"Sorry, what? Are you threatening me?"

" Oh, honey if this is what you call threatening, you NEED some training. You need to know that I'm on your side, sweetie. I'm just tryna warn yah! Stay away from those douchebags if you wanna graduate!" his voice is interrupted by the sudden chime of the bell.
"Okay I gotta get going. By the way, love the shoes. Tell me where you got them. Will see you at lunch. Hope you stay alive! ", he says, half running- half walking to his class.
He is so gay. Well, I guess he's good. He also told me that he was on my side.
Realization dawns upon me that the bell has already rung. I don't even know what class I have next. After minutes of dreadful searching, I finally find the coordinator's room.
She gives me my schedule and some paperwork related to the new admission stuff. As a matter of sheer bad luck, I was already running late as I was supposed to attend Math and I had no idea where the hell the classroom was. She gives me the the directions and I very well pretend like I understood and walk away.
I had lost 8 minutes in searching the classroom. I look through the door. A man , probably in his forties is taking the class.
"Sorry miss, is there something you need?", his voice takes me off guard. He sounds strict, possessing a commanding tone.
"I'm sorry. But, I'm the new student. Vanessa Clark. I got lost. Sorry for showing up late"
"Well, come in Miss Clark. You are excused this time. But I shall not tolerate this type of indiscipline again. I'm Mr.Andrews. Take your seat.", he says with a stern look.
"Yes , Mr.Andrews."
Woah! He is strict! Gotta get used to that! What a great way to introduce a new student. Sarcasm intended. Anyways, I see an empty seat by the window in the right corner. I also spot Blondie across me, who waves when I exchange a short glance with him.
My awkwardness and cringe meter hits it's high score as I witness students staring at me. Some just didn't give a shit. I recapurate today's incidents. First day, and awesome. Already made a fool out of myself. Great. Way to go, Vanessa. Way to go!
