14) I'm Going Home

Longer Chapter (Over 1800 words)

David's POV

My daughter just told me that Walsh raped her. I'm gonna kill that bastard! I'm on my way to the queens vault to retrieve Graham's heart, maybe if Regina isn't in control of him, he can help me find Walsh. I went to her father's mausoleum, the only place that makes sense to be the vault and I run into Regina.

"What are you doing here?" She asked my rudely.

"Graham's heart. Give it to me!" I was in no mood for her games. 

"And why would I do that?"

"Because you're only here because you have no way to protect yourself, and with the curse being broken, you need protection from the people of Storybrooke, and this vault is your protection, that is until someone else finds out where you're hiding. Give me Graham's heart and your location stays between us" I never thought I'd go so low as to threaten her, but when it comes to Emma being hurt the way she was, all rationality goes out of the window. 

"I never thought you would stoop so low" she said grinning, while grabbing a box out of the wall and handing it to me. 

"Yeah, well I need his help finding someone that hurt my daughter. I'm not proud of this, but I'll do what I have to do to protect my family" I take the box out of her hand and open it and see a heart... that's just creepy, it looks so weird, anyways I turn around to leave and she stops me.

"David..." she said sort of quietly. I turn around to listen to what she had said.

"I-I'm sorry"

I had to have misheard, Regina doesn't apologize. "Pardon?"

"I'm sorry David, I ruined Snow's life and I ruined your daughters life, they didn't deserve that. And before you ask, I don't want anything from you, I just wanted you to know that"

I nodded my head and left to the sheriffs department, I arrive shortly after, being as it is a pretty small town. "Graham, I have something for you" he looks at me curiously, then I show him the heart. 

"How did you get it back?"

"Don't worry about that now, we need to get Walsh, and when we do, I ask that you give us a moment alone"

"I can't promise the private meeting, but I will gladly help to put him in prison, and I don't mean the county jail, he's going to state prison" I told me proudly. "Oh, but first give this to Snow or Emma" he told me handing me a half sheet of paper.

"What is it?" I asked, taking the slip of paper from him.

"It's the number of someone named August Booth, Snow asked my to find it for Emma"

"Thanks Graham, for everything" I say and left to go see Emma at the hospital.

When I arrived at the hospital, Emma wasn't in her room, so I went to the front desk. "Can I help you sir?"

"My daughter, Emma Swan, she isn't in her room"

"Yes, let me check" she typed something into the computer. "Oh... She went home"

"What?!"

Emma's POV

My dad left an hour ago and my mom took Henry to school about 20 minutes ago, so she should be back any minute now. 

A few moments later, she walked into my hospital room with an angry face, in her defense, I was signing an AMA form. "Emma, what are you doing?" She asked angrily.
