Chapter 20: Ask Nicely ..

Nathan and Brian met up at their lockers after their first class ..

"So when are you asking her ?" Nathan asked Brian .. shuffling his books around , finding his Reading assignment

"I will , I will " Brian , fixed his jackets looking for Cameron's sight

"When exactly , after the Dance is over " Nathan smirked not even looking at him

"Let her show up first " He made a face at a confused looking Nathan  , he felt irritated by his constant shuffling ..

"What are you looking for anyway ?" He asked annoyed ..

"My assignment , english assignment " he said again digging deep into his locker 

Brian felt like hitting Nathan with a brick .. "you mean the one you handed to me before opening your locker " he said holding out his file with a straight facs ..

"Why didn't you tell me before " he grabved it put of his hand , checking if that was it ..

" I would've if you'd stop to tell me what you were looking for " Brian gave him his 'You're and idiot ' face ..

Shauna  saw the two boys exchanging looks when she was walking past them , she spotted them so she stoped to say hi ..

"Hey , Brian, Nathan " She said giving each a nod respective with their names ..

"Whats up ?" She casually asked, as Nathan struggled to put his things back into his locker ..

"Who attacked your locker ?" She laughed , and Brian joined in while helping him close his locker .. finally when the boys succeeded in the task , they greeted her nicely ..

"What are you upto today , are we still on for that piani lesson you wanted ?" Brian asked shauna checking if their plans are intact

"Yes , yeah absolutely .. I cant wait to finally learn to play " she excitingly said ..

"Piano lessons , what's next Karaoke Bar ?" Nathan joked to which both of them made a face at him ..

He stopped laughing when he realized he was the only one laughing which was awkward ..

"So shauna , are you going to the Ball with somebody ? I mean who's escorting you ?" Nathan asked , confirming before he could ask her

"I dont have a date yet " she shrugged her shoulders , not showing she was embarrassed she said it like its not a big deal ..

" how about you go with me ?" Nathan asked , without a warning , she shot a look at him , her eyes wide open which was noticed by botg boys

Brian let out a little laugh , while Nathan immediately stopped her at the thought

"Why me ?" She asked rather confused

"We've known eachother for a while , you're a nice girl , I feel comfortable around you , and I know that you dont like me like that " he sighed merging his hands together

"If I ask anybody eles , she will stalk me to death , plz plz plz " he said now almost begging her , her wide eyes turned narrow and then small from laughter as he begged plz from her ..

"Okay ,okay , I've never had a guy begged for my attention before " she whispered to Brian loudly enough for Nathan to hear ..

"Well get used to it ma'Lady " he bowed to her and three of them started laughing ..

"I'll see you later then ,right " she said about to bid goodbye to them
