Society sets an unrealistic beauty standard, so it's pointless to see yourself as anything less than perfect. Everything you consider as a flaw is only something that makes you, well, you. Having flaws is the only way to improve, right? So don't try to be anyone else; all of your curves, edges, freckles, moles, everything. It's all you, and that's what makes you perfect the way you are. When society says "you need to be skinny!" or "you need to cover yourself up with makeup so people will find you attractive!" They're wrong.
So what if your body isn't flawless? Whose is? Not those models. Not the person you want to be like. Not anyone. Everyone has blemishes. Everyone has small imperfections that only add to their perfection. Why not wear them proud? Are you scared? Well so am I, but you know what? We don't have to be.
Read this again, and then again if you still haven't picked it up by now. Everybody. EVERYBODY HAS FLAWS! Perfection is unattainable, so why try to hide? Thick, thin, short, tall, tan, pale, whether you've got blue eyes or brown. Blonde? Brunette? It does NOT matter. Everybody is different, and that's exactly the way it should be. So anytime you find yourself thinking "why can't I be as pretty as her?" or "why aren't I as good as him?" Forget it. Smile. Laugh it off, because I can tell you right now that while you're wishing you were someone else, there's always another person wishing to be you. Do you know what that means? It means you're more beautiful than you think.
Do something for me, yea? Stop focusing on what you don't like about yourself, and show everyone that you're better as a whole, rather than just the pieces you show.
