AN: Here is Chapter 3. I know I published Chapter 2 three days ago... but I've had so much flipping free time! And, despite the fact I don't have a lot of readers, this is still fun to write. So, enjoy!

I awoke the next morning and I quickly figured out that, once again, I had absorbed Millard's peculiarity. Makes sense, seeing as how his room is right next to mine. I closed my eyes and focused. In a few minutes, I was visible once more. Man, I'm getting way better at this. I got dressed and brushed my hair, getting ready for the day.

A few minutes later there was a knock. I glanced at the clock. 8:15 on the dot. Millard doesn't lie when he says he'll be there exactly. I opened the door and sure enough, Millard's standing there, ready to go. I motioned for him to come in. He walks in and sits on the bed.

"So, nothing when you woke up?" He asked.

"Well... I woke up invisible again, but I was able to get rid of it." I said with a small smile.

"Ok, well I hope you don't mind, but you're going to try and become invisible again,  because I'm in closest range, it might be easier." I nodded. "Great, then we'll try it how we did yesterday. Just concentrate on what your trying to do. That's always the best way to start." Nodding again, I closed my eyes and concentrated on the one person in the room with me. I focused on the one task at hand. Becoming invisible. Absorbing Millard's peculiarity. I remained quiet, the room around me was quiet, everything was quiet. Suddenly, a warm sensation ran through my body, them a tingle started at my toes. I opened my eyes and looked down. My feet were gone and my legs were disappearing rapidly. I look to Millard and smile.

"It worked, I'm becoming invisible!"

"Yeah. You did it." He said nodding. I feel my neck and arms disappear too. Eventually, my whole body is invisible. "Now make yourself visible again." I closed my eyes and didn't even need to think. I felt a warmth move from my head down and when I opened my eyes, I was visible. I had a huge smile plastered on my face. I walked over to Millard and hugged him.

"Thank you so much" I said. It took him a second to react but he hugged back.

"N-no problem." Millard stuttered. I pulled away, looking around.

"So, is there anything fun to do around here? Besides the beach?" I asked.

"Well... uh.. there's... not really, no."

"Oh." I looked down.

"Well, there's one thing, but I'm the only one who really does it.... it's kinda stupid." He said. I glanced over at him, curious as to what this "stupid thing" was. I raised an eyebrow and looked at him.

"What is it?"

"I... um... study the loop...." he said, clearly embarrassed.

"What do you study?" I asked, interested.

"Everything.... I've only just recently started, but I'm working on it...." he says.

"That's cool."

"You really think so?" I nodded.

"It sounds fascinating, actually." I said quietly.

"It really is.... uh, maybe you could come along sometime..." he added quietly.

"Yeah, I'd really like that. It'd be fun." I said with a reassuring smile.

"Ok... great. I'll let you know next time I go out."

"Sounds good." I said nodding.

Breakfast went over normally. Everyone chattering plans for the day, a minor headache in my behalf. Only today I made plans. I was planning on going out with most of the others to play "Raid the Village". Apparently it is a very fun game. And it's played just as it sounds. We go off and destroy the village. That's the whole point. Only rule is you can't purposely kill someone. Take what you want, destroy what you want. Just don't kill someone purposely. Easy enough.
