The story of my life, its never been told.

Doing what i gotta do just to get a little grown.

Daddy on the road, and Momma at work.

Taking care of baby brother, all the feelings that got hurt.

Praying to the gods, down upon my knees.

If you cant save me, save the ones you really need.

These dark and cloudy days. they never go away.

Always on a struggle, trying to see another day.

I see my grandma hurt. she always in some pain.

The sadness in her face. I wish it'd go away.

Momma lost it all, but Momma I'm still here.

Imma take you home Momma dont you ever have a fear.

I missed my sisters Birthday, Christmas and New Years.

Sitting in a jail cell soaking up the tears.

Sleeping in a car, in an empty lot.

The story of my life, I'm trying to make it to the top.

But these pain and tears have only made me stronger.

They taught me how to learn and work a little harder.

How to be a bigger man, even when I'm weak.

Imma show you Mom, I'm the only man you need.

And when you come to me. you ain't ever gonna fall.

Imma be a bigger man and show you that i can be strong.

Dont you worry about a thing grandpas here to.

The courage that i need to keep on pushing through.

I remember those cold nights, sleeping all alone.

I remember those dark nights, no electric in the home.

Fighting to survive for the little that we had.

Sometimes i feel alone, yea i feel just like my dad.

Family will love you, even when your wrong.

Be there to support you even when your grown.

I spent my whole life, always getting stoned.

Trying to hide the tears but its written there in stone.

I dream about angels watching over earth.

I wish i could show my grandpa every line to these words.

I hope you liked this poem, i put it on a verse

Remember these three words, family comes first.
