Smile Yet Broken

I am so tired,

But my soul is awake.

I drop to my knees,

Because my body's so weak.

Where is my strength,

I search, but can't find it.

I'll just sit in this world,

Uncontrollably crying.

No one can see,

The pain that I'm in.

I faked a perfect life,

But I'm broken within.

Even if they love me,

I cannot love myself.

I've already accepted,

That no one wants to help.

How can you be there,

For someone who's perfect?

But they don't know,

That I keep hurting and hurting.

I guess I'm alone,

In this world so cold.

I guess I'm alone,

With these old broken bones.
