Family History; Back in Jake's all around rodeo days, Boomerang was his roping horse that he won with his first ever all around rodeo title. Since then Boomerang had competed with Jake in numerous rodeos before the accident that forced an early end to his rodeo career. Jake couldn't bear part with his best friend and partner all together, but in the months of recovery, Jake had leased Boomerang out to fellow rodeo personnel to allow him to continue doing what he loved with chasing cows. When he moved to the ranch, Jake immediately retired Boomerang from the circuit and let him spend most his time as a pasture ornament in with the cows at the ranch. He really only brings Boomerang out from semi-retirement on branding day, cattle drive days and when Spotty and the other horses need a break. Boomerang enjoys living out his days in the pasture getting himself a nice grass belly, but also really looks forward to the days that he does get to work.
Confirmation; Well, since his semi retirement, Boomerang has gotten quite the fat to him. His grass belly looks a little more in portion though to his neck which has always been short and a little on the thick side. His muscling has deteriorated since his roping horse days, but you can still tell he was built nice. Thick legs, good strong hocks. Slightly downhill and starting to develop a slight sway back.
Status; Owned by Jake
