Painted with; Grulla roan. Nice silvery color where the roan ticks are from afar. Her head remains a dark steel gray, and her legs black with barring. Star-Stripe-Snip Combo on her face. No leg markings.
Family History; Barbedwire is the sole reason Bailey discovered Arie loved to jump. Before he was gelded, Arie jumped fences to get over to the mares. Barbedwire is the result of his only success before his gallivanting was shut down. She may have been a mistake, but she proved her usefulness. Even before Bailey started her under saddle she had an aching to be with the cows. She got her cowy genes from her mother, as Arie had no cow sense what so ever. Bailey trained Barbedwire all by herself and used her for all the ranch work. Now that Arie is gone, Barbedwire has taken over the role of being Bailey's go to mount.
Confirmation; Barbedwire really is a looker. Nice feminine head, you could tell she is a mare from clear across a pasture. Nice short back with a thick barrel and deep chest. Her Shoulder and rump were both a little steep, but she was still able to do her jobs so that was the only thing that really mattered. She was a little over in her front legs, and slightly post hocked.
