"I found something," I said to Hailey, as I dashed out of Keith's house.

After I got off the bus, I walked down the block to the police station and walked inside to Hailey's office, where I found my mom and dad.

"Keith. Keith killed him. He had to. Look!" I said, grabbing the post-its from my pocket and throwing it on the table. Hailey scrambled for her phone, quickly dialed Keith's number and put it on speaker. We all gathered around the phone while it rang.

"Hello?" Keith answered. He spoke with a very feminine and high-pitched voice and he sounded horrible on the phone with it.

"Get your little teenage-killing, ugly-looking, bum ass over to this police station now. And I'm so serious Keith, if you don't get you ass over here, I WILL find you and I will tear you LIMB from LIMB." And with that statement, she hung up.

"Well, damn, Hailey. You scared the crap out of the poor kid! Like, his shit probably came out as soon as you hung up. Seriously," I said.

"Danielle!" Mom and Dad said, in unison.

"Oh, I'm sorry that I'm a 16 year-old who said shit even though I'm allowed to make a fake ID. Smart,"  I said, annoyed.

After five minutes passed of anxious waiting and awkward conversations, Keith came bursting through the door with sweat rolling down his forehead and fright plastered his face. I glared at him. My mom ran outside and got two police officers to escort him to the interrogation room. Hailey and I went to watch the interrogation between Keith and the officer through the two-sided mirror.

"So, your name is...?"

"Keith. Keith Stanford."

"Do you know who Daniel Jones is?"

"Yeah, that's Danielle's sister. Um...can I see Hailey? Where is she?"

"Not right now."

Keith rolled his eyes and leaned back in his chair. The officer threw five pictures of Daniel's dead body on the table and Keith stared at them, thinking.

"Oh! I know why you guys think I'm the killer. Is it the post its? Oh my gosh. I'm Keith! The new intern who works her as a profiler! I wrote that down to see what results I would get if I were a criminal

Damn, I was forgotten that easily?"

The cops sat there, shocked. I forgot Keith was an intern. Oops.

Chief James, the head of the department, escorted Keith out if the room and gave Hailey and I the eye.

Keith went into Hailey's office and sat on her sofa, as I walked in her office. "How the hell did you forget I was an intern?! You could have CALLED ME, but nooo, instead you make a big deal out of nothing and drag me all the way to this damn office for NOTHING! I could have been cuddling with my boyfriend, which I rarely ever do because we always argue about how I'm never there for him because I'm always HERE In this damn office working 24/7, yet never noticed. What the hell is wrong with you people? I'm out. Bye."

As he stormed out of the office, Hailey sighed. "Well, damn, it ain't my fault the boy got love problems with his boyfriend cause he's here, hell, he should just quit then."

"You're starting to turn into your mother, Dani. You're not looking into the whole situation and not actually considering who the hell your accusing!" Hailey said.

"I know I'm sorry, shut up. I'm gonna go, you know it's Sunday, I gotta hit the books, last-minute studying, homework, all that crap. So, I'll see you."

Hailey stood up, and put out her arms. "Come here, vanilla ice cream."

I walked over to her, preparing myself to have the blood squeezed out of me, and hugged her.

"It's okay, we'll find out who killed her, okay?"

"Okay, bye."

"Bye, baby."

I closed her door and saw my mom and dad waiting outside in the car. I got in and we drove back home. When we arrived home, I did the last bits of my homework and went to sleep.
