I heard the door open. I looked through the steamy glass and saw Jacksons sihouette moving towards me.
   "Mind if I join you?" He asked and I could hear the smirk on his face.                
  "Not at all" I replied. He slid the glass door open and got in.
  "We have a meeting to attend at noon. The pack wants to discuss what we're going to do about the vampire problem and when we plan to have the wedding. By traditional stands we are to be married under the first full moon then have the ceremony to officially make you luna the following night." I took in all of the information and let it click in my head. I'm not much of a morning person expecially before I had my morning run.
   "Why don't we get to decide when we get married? It's much more romantic when we plan it instead of us being pushed into something you know?" He smiled and nodded  "welcome to the 'royal' life" me made hand quotes around the word royal.      "Well I mat have my duties as an upcoming luna but I will not let this run my life. I saw how my mom and dad were. They were always busy and never had time to enjoy life" I stated while rinsing shampoo out of my hair.
  "I love that about you." he smiled, "you are your own person. I know it's only been a couple of days but I've learned a lot about you." He kissed my cheek then stepped out. I don't know if I am ready to be luna or not. I have to be responsible and brave and so many more things that I am not. Just last week I was going to high school and now I have to take over a pack. The connection that Jackson and I share is strong enough to get me to leave my family behind forever but I don't think it can prepare me for this lifestyle.
  "Come on babe we have to get ready" Jackson called, pulling me out of my daze.
  "Ok give me five minutes" I replied as I rushed to finish bathing.
     "Our pack has different settings for meetings. Sometimes they're as casual a cook out or barbecue and sometimes we have dances or balls and they can also be just the pack sitting in a room talking or a fancy dinner. Today is going to be a lunch held at a restaurant in the humans town" he went on explaining to me how the meetings work. He informed me that I have to dress up and that he'd send his maid in to do my hair and make up. I sighed at that one. He kissed my forehead.
   "I know you don't want to baby but we have to. I'll be holding your hand the whole time. I'm going to go get Elizabeth now. Go get dressed" he ordered then left the room. I walked to my closet and opened the doors. I walked in and browsed my options. I decided to go with a white lace dress that was a v neck and a slit down the front. That's one of the perks of being the alphas mate, you get gorgeous clothes.
