I hope you guys like this chapter! I'm happy that you guys keep reading. I found I had passion for writing when I was in first or second grade, but I was always too shy to show or read anyone my stories. Obviously they were probably pretty bad back then, and they still kind of are now, but they've definitely improved. When my friend introduced me to Wattpad I thought it was stupid, but she eventually convinced me to download it. This is one of the best things I've ever discovered. Anyways, your support means so much to me. Please comment and vote!!! Sorry for talking, I'll let you read now...Regina lit her fireplace and sat on her couch. She took off her tight outfit and tall heels, and she traded them in for some loose, black, cotton short shorts, her father's crimson colored Harvard sweatshirt (it was still too big in her because she had only grown five inches since she was in sixth grade), and a pair of fuzzy black socks. She put her hair in a half up half down and put on her glasses. Regina laid on her stomach and covered herself in a soft black and grey blanket.
As she laid on her stomach, she was reading "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" for the God-knows-how-many time. She would never get tired of Harry Potter. She was about halfway through the book when she heard a knock on her door. She immediately jumped up and walked to her front door. "Coming!" Regina shouted. She slid across her dark hard wood floors as she made her way to her door. She stood on her tip toes and looked through the little hole in the door. She saw Robin standing there awkwardly waiting outside her door with a small duffle bag in his hand. Regina opened the door. "Hey Robin! Come on in." Regina said with a smile.
Robin looked his best friend up and down. He admired her long smooth legs and olive skin. The sweatshirt seemed to eat her alive. He immediately recognized the sweatshirt she was wearing. It was the sweatshirt she wore when he first fell for her, when he was only in sixth grade. "Thank you so much for letting me stay here tonight." Robin said with a smile.
"Well, I did technically force you to spend the night in my apartment because if you didn't then you would probably be bleeding right now." Regina sassed pointing to Robin's still slightly bleeding knuckles on his right hand. "I think we should clean that up."
"You're probably right."
"When am I not?"
"Cocky." Robin covered up with a fake cough.
"What was that?"
"Nothing." Robin replied innocently.
"That's what I thought."
"Where should I put my stuff?"
"Down the hall, third door on your left, there's a guest room. You can set your stuff in there. Did you bring a toothbrush?"
"Yes mother." Robin said mockingly.
"Haha very funny. Go put your stuff in the guest room, so I can fix your hand."
"Ok."
Regina walked down her long hallway, occasionally sliding on the hard wood floor with her fuzzy socks. Robin followed her. Each time he saw Regina slide down the hall, he would laugh. Regina turned right and turned on a light. Robin turned left and put his stuff on large full bed. He turned back to see Regina standing on her tip toes reaching for something. "I'm going to change. I'll be out in a minute." Robin said to Regina across the hall.
"Ok. I'll be on the couch." Regina said not looking at him.
Robin closed the door and took off his clothes. He reached into his bag and pulled out a pair of grey sweatpants and a dark grey short sleeve shirt. He ran his hands through his hair a couple of times to take out some of the gel he had put in. A couple minutes later Robin walked out of the guest room. He walked into the living room and saw Regina sitting on the couch. Robin saw a large, shiny, black box sitting on Regina's glass coffee table. He walked up behind Regina and placed his chin on her left shoulder. She turned her head and smiled at Robin. "Hey Robin." Regina said quietly and calmly.
Robin placed his hand in Regina's shoulder and walked around the couch. He sat down and the couch. "Come here." Regina said patting a spot on the couch that was closer to her. "I don't bite. Unless you want to get an infection, I suggest you let me fix your hand. This is your last chance." She raised her eyebrow.
"Ok." Robin said chuckling.
He scooted closer to Regina. She grabbed his hand and placed it in her lap. She reached for a dark, clean dish towel that was in a white bowl with some water in it. Regina squeezed the towel and brought it to Robin's hand. She gently dabbed it. Robin winced a couple times. Once Regina was done dabbing his hand, she threw it backwards and it fell into her kitchen sink. Then she opened the black box and there was gauze, band aids, neosporan, bandage tape, and Robin caught a glance of a stitches kit. "So uh, what exactly are you going to do to me?" Robin asked slightly nervous.
"I'm going to cut off her hand." Regina said looking at Robin directly in the eyes with a very serious face.
Robin's breath hitched. His eyes went wide. "Robin, I'm kidding. Don't be nervous. I'm not going out hurt you."
Regina took a bottle of hydrogen peroxide and grabbed the bowl. She unscrewed the cap. "This is going out sting, but it'll be worth it." Regina said.
"Ok."Robin said calmly.
Regina slowly poured the liquid on Robin's hand. As a reflex, Robin pulled his hand away but then he let the hydrogen peroxide run over his hand. It only took a few seconds and then Regina put the bottle down. She dabbed his hand dry with a small, clean towel. She grabbed the Neosporin and lightly dabbed it on Robin's injured knuckles. Once it was thoroughly rubbed in Regina grabbed a small roll of gauze. She unrolled the gauze a bit and placed it on Robin's hand. She held it down and gently wrapped it around Robin's knuckles. She wrapped it around his hand a few times and then she held it down and looks around. "Oh crap." Regina said clenching her jaw.
"What is it?" Robin asked furrowing his brow.
"I left the surgical tape in my bathroom."
"Where and why do you get surgical tape?"
"My parents were surgeons remember? My mom was a cardio thoracic surgeon, and my dad was a orthopedic surgeon. That's why I spent the night at your house so much, because my parents were always on call. But of course I wanted to spend time with you because you were and still are my best friend.
Anyways when I was nine they taught me how to dress wounds. When I was eleven they taught me how to relocate dislocated parts of the body. When I was twelve they taught me how to do stitches. Simple things really. They taught me other things because they assumed I was going to be a surgeon. Clearly that didn't happen, but I managed to retain some of the things they taught me."
"You're a badass, you know that right?"
Regina snorted cutely. "Here hold this down while I find the surgical tape." Regina squad getting up.
Robin held down the gauze as Regina got up from the couch and walked to her bathroom. She grabbed the surgical tape from the top drawer and returned to the living room. Robin sat there waiting. She jumped over her couch and sat next to Robin. "Got it." Regina said holding up the tape.
"Great." Robin said with a smile.
"Give me your hand."
Robin gave Regina his hand. She gently took his hand and cut a piece of tape off with her teeth. She placed it on Robin's hand. "There. Done. That wasn't so bad right?" Regina said with a smile.
Robin looked at his hand. He smiled. "Thank you Regina."
"No problem. What should we do now?"
"I don't know. Maybe we could watch a movie."
"That's sounds fun. What movie should we watch?"
"Star Wars: The Force Awakens?"
"You know me so well."
Regina got up from the couch and walked over to a tall wooden cabinet. She opened it and it was filled with movies. "How many movies do you have Regina?" Robin asked surprised.
"Not that many. I think I have a little over two hundred." Regina said casually.
"Why?"
"You're going to have to ask Henry about that."
"Maybe I will."
Regina looked through the movies and pulled out a movie. "Got it."
Regina bent down and put the movie in the DVD player. As she bent down her sweatshirt came up and her short shorts were exposed. As she bent down her shorts rose up, and Robin saw a little bit of Regina's butt. He tried not to stare, but he couldn't help it. Robin continued to stare at Regina's butt. He was brought out of his thoughts by Regina taking in a deep breath and letting a sigh. "Robin?" Regina asked calmly.
"Yes Regina." Robin said shaking his head.
"Can you do something for me?" Regina asked turning around to face Robin. She pulled her sweatshirt down.
"Yes, of course. What is it?"
"Can you stop staring at my ass, please?"
Robin took a deep quick breath. His eyes went wide. "How did you— I mean what are you talking about? You're bloody insane to think that I would stare at your ass."
Regina raised and eyebrow and smirked. "Robin, it's not this isn't the first time I've ever caught you staring at my ass."
"What are you talking about?"
"I never mentioned it, but Emma and Ruby told me that in high school, they would see you staring at my ass whenever we would go to the movies or the fair or at concerts or you know, in general."
Robin blushed hard. "I'm sorry Regina." Robin said embarrassed. He looked down at the floor.
"You have nothing to be ashamed of Robin. It's perfectly normal. And if we're being honest right now, I'll admit that I've had my fair share of staring at your ass over the years." Regina said as she bit her lip.
Robin chuckled. He patted the couch. "Come over here." Robin said with a smile. He reached over for the remote from the coffee table.
Regina lazily walked over to Robin. She stopped a foot away from Robin. "What if I don't want to?" Regina asked she put her hands on her hips and cocked one hip outward.
Robin didn't say anything. He gave Regina a subtle smirk. Then out of nowhere Robin suddenly grabbed Regina's hand and pulled her onto the couch with him. She fell on top of him. She was taken aback by Robin's actions. Then he began to tickle Regina senseless. She tried to push him away but Robin was too heavy. "Robin!" Regina laughed in between breaths. "Please, please stop!"
"Not until you say the magic word." Robin said while he still tickled her sides.
Regina was squirmed under Robin's body. He continued to tickle her for the next couple of minutes. Regina began to run out of breath because she was laughing so hard. Her face began to turn red and her eyes started to water. "Uncle!" Regina shouted still laughing. "Uncle! You win! Just please, get off of me! I can't breath."
Robin did as he was told and stopped tickling Regina immediately. He got off of Regina and they both sat up. Regina pouted cutely and narrowed her eyes. Then she slapped Robin's arm. "Ow!" Robin said pouting as he rubbed his arm. "What was that for?"
"You know you're not supposed to tickle me, Robin! I don't like it when people tickle me." Regina said still pouting.
"Well, that's not what your face says. You know you have an amazing smile Regina."
Regina blushed. "I'm going to get up some popcorn." Regina said getting up from the couch. "Do you think you can set up the movie?"
"I'm sure I can figure it out."
"Ok. Don't fuck up my TV. I don't feel like fixing anything tonight."
"Ok, ok. I won't."
"Good."
Regina grabbed a bag of popcorn and put it in the microwave for a couple of minutes. She watched it spin. It began to pop. Then the timer went off and Regina grabbed the popcorn from the microwave. She grabbed a bowl and poured the popcorn into the bowl. "Do want anything to drink?" Regina asked.
"No, I'm fine." Robin replied.
Regina grabbed a Ginger Ale from her fridge. She walked to the couch. The movie was ready. "Hold this." Regina said handing Robin the bowl of popcorn. He took it from her as she sat down on the couch. She scooted close to Robin. He put his arm around Regina, and she moved closer to him. Regina pressed the play button. Regina opened her soda. As she began to lift it towards her mouth, Robin quickly took the drink from her hand and took a sip of it then he put it back in her hand. She didn't move. She put a fake shocked look on her face and turned her head towards Robin. She slapped his arm again. "Get your own drink!"
Robin smiled. He side hugged Regina. "I know you love me." Robin said.
You have no idea. Regina said to herself.
———————————
As the movie continued, Regina and Robin finished the popcorn and soda. They were only half way through the movie, and Regina's eyes began to droop. She got more sleepy as the movie continued. Her head slowly dropped and it ended up in Robin's lap. He looked down and saw Regina curled up into a little ball fast asleep. Robin smiled down at the asleep Regina in his lap. She looked so peaceful and adorable. She let out a subtle snore. A piece of hair fell in front of Regina's face. Robin gently swept the hair away from her face.
Robin turned off the movie. He picked up Regina up bridal style. Once Regina was in Robin's arms, Regina nuzzled her head into the crook of Robin's shoulder and wrapped her arms around Robin's neck. He walked down the hallway, trying not to slip on her hardwood floor. Once he reached her bedroom, he bent his knees lower so he could open door. The door creaked open, louder than robin was hoping. He quickly looked down to see if Regina had woken up. She was still fast asleep in his arms.
Robin walked into her large bedroom. Luckily, Regina being the somewhat lazy person Regina was her bed wasn't made. Robin walked towards her large bed. He pulled the sheets back as best he could and carefully placed Regina in her bed. He pulled the sheets and blankets up over Regina. He heard her let out a little snore. Robin quietly chuckled. Robin carefully took off Regina's glasses on her nightstand. He brushed a piece of hair away from her face. He softly kissed Regina's forehead.
Then he walked back into his own room. He let out a sigh and ran his hands through his hair. He slowly walked towards his bed and eased into it. He let out on last sigh before he turned off the nightstand lamp. "This woman is going to be the death of me." Robin quietly said to himself.I'm sorry for the short chapter.
