With a sigh,i headed down to the dining room for dinner.

Shiho's POV

It is now time to sleep.But I think i should work on the antidote for the APTX 4869 first.Like i promised Shinichi,I shall stop self harm for a while until he has recovered.

Grabbing the laptop,I darted down to the underground laboratory to start work.The antidote was close to being finished,but i think 2 weeks is the ideal amount of time.

Sitting back,I started wondering:"What would happen to me after i finish the antidote?Since young,the Black Organisation has been my home.Making the Apotoxin 4869 became my job.After I escaped from there,Hakase's place has become my home,whereas my job is to make the antidote.Shinichi is only here to protect me because I am the antidote maker.So what would I do after the Black Organisation has been taken down and everything goes back to normal..."

"Shiho?Are you here?"Shinichi asked while pounding on the door.

"Yes come in.What is it,Kudo-kun"I replied.

"Like I said,call me Shinichi.We have been together for a long time already so Im sure we have already passed formalities."Shinichi grumbled

"Fine.What is it,Shinichi?"I snapped.

"Shiho...I think i have regained my memory...Or rather,Haibara Ai."he exclaimed in his undying excitement.

"Huh are you sure?"I snored at his unbelievable news.It was as if he told me he won the lottery 10 times in a row.

"Yeah...I remember what happened,how i shrunk,and everything else!"Shinichi explained patiently after seeing my flippant look.

"Its great to have you back..."I assented,trailing off.

"But?"Shinichi quizzed.

"But there is something i have to show you."I told him with a forced,bitter smile.The news that would have to be told someday,sooner or later.

Slowly,I settled him on a chair before going up to my room to get my spare laptop so that I could show it to him.The cold and brutal truth beyond his knowledge.

"Shinichi you remember Jodie-san right?"I questioned.The FBI agent was definitely an important part of his life but ironically I was unsure if he remembered.

He nodded in reply while I opened my Skype account.Deciding that it was time to talk to the FBI Agent,I video called Jodie-san who would also unravel the truth before us.

"Hi Shiho!What a surprise!With you calling me,I suppose that Shinichi-kun has got his memory back?"Jodie-san said smoothly in her thick English accent.

"That is right.And now i think this is the right time for us to discuss a little."I started while flashing my trademark smirk,unwilling to show her anything beneath my cold facade.

"Sure go on!"Jodie-san exclaimed on the other end of the phone in fake excitement.She could see how fake my expression was.

"I need at least another week to finish up with the antidote even if i rush.After Shinichi returns to his regular body,I supposed you need to stage the deaths of our younger selves?"I wanted to know.

"Yes thats right.But dont worry,the FBI will take care of that."Jodie-san explained.

I could see Shinichi's face falling as he heard this news.So did mine.In our short years of living as 7 Year Olds,Ayumi-can,Tsubaraya-kun and Genta-kun has been our trusted friends. Hence I understood why Shinichi decided to make a request of his own.

"Excuse me Jodie-san.But is it alright to just say that we migrated to America to the kids.They have been really good to us and I dont want to see them hurt,even in thus dire conditions."Shinichi begged.

"Kudo-kun I understand your concerns.But you have to understand that we can heal someone medically but not always mentally.But in this case the FBI can empathize with you and so this can be discussed depending on the situation."Jodie mumbled.

"The thing i was to discuss is more of the plan with the Japanese Police Force,CIA,FBI and many other Government departments.We would be raiding the Black Organisation and I would like to know the plan."I went on.

"Alright.The specific details are to be planned with you,Shinichi and the other relevent people around.But all we know is that Shuuichi-kun planted a bug on one of Black Organisation's subordinates and we managed to find out where their lair is at.However they found the bug.It would not be long until they start reenforcing their defences.So what now?"Jodie-san asked me.

"Ok,thanks.Ill speed up the making of the antidote and hurry back to Japan as soon as I can."I muttered,eager to end the call to work on the antidote already.

"Sure!We would see you at headquaters soon then!"Jodie-san said.

"Ja ne"I mumbled.

"One last thing.Akai-kun would be visiting you later with a few other people.Dont worry they are all trusted."Jodie-san mumbled before hanging up.

Heaving a sigh of relief at the condition of Japan,i then turned to Shinichi and said coldly "You heard it too.Prepare youself while i finish the antidote."

With that,I walked up the stairs with Shinichi and eased him in his room before leaving.Or should i say,attempting to leave.

"Stay."

"Wha?"

"Shiho could you stay here until I fall asleep.I have been getting nightmares about what happened recently."

Seeing the look in his broken eyes,I relented.

"Wait here.Ill go get ny computer and come back up."I smiled as he let go.

Just at that moment,the bell rang.
