Chapter 32

Hey guys I apologize that it has been a while!But yeah,the story has been getting more and more twisted,even when Anokata or Yataka himself wanting to destroy the Black Ravens!I bet this plot twist was unexpected for the manjoritt of you all,and it is for me too!I just went with the flow on this book with no planning at all,except for the War scenes which I wanted to improvise but in the end I still did alot of planning,hence I hope you guys liked it!

It has been a long time since I updated,so Ill promise u a more decent update.Finally,I am able to set aside all my personal feelings and things,beginning my writing of this update.At the same time,I want to shamelessly promote my new book:Rejection-A Detective Conan twoshot.That book is the start of my rants which I really hope for some support,so please read it should you have pockets of free time!

Now that Im done with the rambling(I dont want to bore yall with the Author's note),lets get on with the story

Shinichi's POV
The doubt in my eyes were clear as I glanced into the deep,dark eyes of Yataka,AKA Anokata.

This made no sense.Anokata,the leader of the Black Ravens,now wanted me to destroy his own organisation which he built with his own two hands?

"Dont look so shocked,my friend.I know you expected me to be Anokata,yes,and my son Gintaro who you might know as Gin,to be the villian.However,I can provide you with proof that even though I might be Anokata,even though Gin might my son,both of us are not the ones you should be up against."Yataka reasoned.

"If you want to tell a story,tell it from the beginning."I lamented flatly,my alert still high and the gun rammed against Yataka's head.

"All right.As you know my alias Yataka.Yataka was actually a friend of mine,a nobody in the FBI who just ran around to run simple errands.However,he had a big dream.He wanted his name to be in the history of FBI.Someday,he admitted to me that he was a Undercover Agent(UC) who was sent to destroy the Black Ravens.At that point of time,my father,Ryogo Sakesu was the real and original Anokata.When he found out I was a friend of Yataka-kun,he also found out that he was a UC out to destroy his empire.Hence,he sent the order down for me to kill him.Back then,I had never killed a soul,my hands weren't stained with blood yet.However,with a gun pointed to my head,I was forced to ram a magazine worth of bullets into Yataka-kun.I remember his last words clearly till now.'Fear not,as my death was to be expected.All that I ask from you,Akimon-kun,is to finish my uncompleted mission.'With those words left behind,he leaped up despite the pain to fire another 2 shots at himself when he grabbed my hand onto the gun."Yataka paused slightly,as if the mere mentioning of this incident triggered many memories.

"After that,I escaped from the Black Ravens.I went for some plastic surgery,and came back to the FBI in Yataka's name.His handler,Kiyo-san trusted me when I told him what happened and got me a promotion.Since then,I have been working hard to get more information about the Black Ravens to destroy them and to fufil my promise to Yataka."He finished and slumped back down on the chair.

Now,the truth has come to light.This Yataka I have been seeing,was not the real one.The real Yataka has been gunned down in cold blood,by this man who stood before me.

"How could you do this to your own friend?The real Yataka must have trusted you a lot to admit to you the fact that he was a UC.How could you betray him and kill him?"I threw out accusation after accusation at him.

"WHAT COULD I HAVE DONE.I HAD 3 GUNS POINTED AT MY HEAD,ALMOST 1K OF BLACK RAVEN MEMBERS AROUND.EVEN IF I DIDNT FIRE THOSE SHOTS,SOMEONE WOULD HAVE.LOOK.EVEN GINTARO,AT HIS YOUNG AGE OF 5,REBELED AGAINST ME WHEN HE HEARD I BETRAYED THE BLACK RAVENS.HE REFUSED TO ESCAPE WITH ME.HE BECAME ONE OF THE TOP RANKING MEMBERS AND GUNNED DOWN ALMOST 50 OF MY COMRADES.LOOK AT THIS ARM OF MINE.HE EVEN FIRED A SHOT AT HIS OWN FATHER.WHAT MORE DO YOU WANT FROM ME."Yataka savagely took of his shirt and jabbed a finger at his chest,where you could see a prominent bullet scar with many other scars.

"Yataka.Gin fired at Shiho.How do you want me to forgive the same person who has hurt her over and over?I have heard how Shiho was being treated in the Black Ravens.I have heard how Tensho has been treated.How do you want me to forgive him?"I retorted back snarkly.

"To be fairly honest,I never expected you to forgive him.However,I just hope for you to put your trust in me one more time.Just this last time.I promise you.You would have your revenge and get your vengeance,while I would have fulfilled my promise to the real Yataka.It is a win-win situation for both of us.As for the bomb,Im sorry it had to be done.The truth is,I thought that would be the only way to get your co-operation."Yataka apologized and bowed.

"Yataka.Ill settle the score with you later.Whats more important is I need more information.What is the past of the Black Ravens?Any information would be greatly appreciated.Ill promise you here that after you pass me the remote and we finish this,you will be a free man."I negotiated as he nodded his head.

"Deal."He stated blantly.

An alliance has been reached.
