The door clicked open

Hattori's POV
The atmosphere was wrong since the moment I stepped in.

The two love birds were hugging each other like there was no tomorrow.

(Am i the only one who giggled at this 😂)

The two of them were enbracing each other on the bed.Both were asleep.Most importantly,

They were clothed.(😂)

I decided to quietly excuse myself.No way was I going to stay in that room and watch them kiss and all.

Shinichi's POV
OH.MY.GOSH.

Hattori just came in,took 1 look and left.He saw me and Shiho...um...Hugging.

"Shinichi.Thanks for that.But I have to go change.Going to the lab later.The antidote is almost finished."Shiho told me.

"Um...Shiho.Uh"I stuttered rapidly.

"Shinichi just say it."Shiho mumbled,unwilling to look at me.

"Do you mind if we have dinner alone tonight!"I forced the words put before turning red like Shiho.

Shiho's POV
WHAT THE HECK JUST HAPPENED!

Did Shinichi just ask me out?

Nonono Im overthinking this.He just wants to have dinner with me.

Right?

"Um...Ok...Meet me at my lab at 6..."I blushed furiously.

"YES!Ill see you at 6!"Shinichi said while punching his fist in the air.

Seeing this idiotic movement from him made me recover my cold facade again.

"Now Tantei-san,could you go out.I need to change.Unless you want to stay here and get enchanted by my beauty"I teased.

He blushed yet another shade of red,showing his embarrassment as he ushered himself out of the room.

After we were done changing.I heard some baka yell from downstairs "WHAT YOU ASKED SHIHO OUT ON A DATE!"

Not even at the scene,I was already beyond flustered.You mean Shinichi asked me out on a date?Which means...

He like me?

All I could do was facepalm at my thoughts.It was all in my mind.Shinichi has Mouri-san.After I finish the antidote,he would go back to her and not stay with me.

Calming myself down,I went down the stairs.

"Shiho is it true that Shinichi"Kaito blurted before Shinichi finally cupped his mouth and pinned him the the ground while Hattori laughed his head off.

"Why why why...Kaito you jealous?"I tried to joke before the atmosphere became solemn and serious.

Kaito just blushed red again before pointing to the kitchen table with food as Shinichi's hand was still over his mouth.

"Thats right...We should probably *giggles* eat first before we *burst out laughing uncontrollably*"Hattori tried to say.

I rolled my eyes and walked there with Shinichi following.
