I walked out of the school building with Hazel.
"At least give me a hint on what you have planned for Rebecca." Hazel pleaded.
"Nope." I replied flatly.
Hazel groaned for the tenth time in an hour. "Fine." She said defeatedly. "But don't keep me waiting tomorrow."
As I walked towards my bike, I turned around and gave her a thumbs up.
"See Ya." She said with a bright smile, then walked towards her own scooter.
As I started my engine, I saw Drew a few vehicles away from me. He saw me too and offered me a polite smile. Then he sat in his own car.
I finally rode out the school gates.
Drew didn't seem as bad and flirty like Jeremy and Mike. He actually seemed kind of nice.
That instant, I saw Drew's car right behind me. Ignoring him, I took a right turn. Drew took the turn too and ended up behind me again.
I couldn't help noticing that, but I kept my focus on the road.
As we both caught speed, I finally moved to a side. Drew drove forward. Now we were in the same pace.
I looked at him, furrowing my eyebrows. Seeing me, he put his window down.
"Are you following me?" I tried to sound as stern as possible.
"What?! No. I just....." Drew seemed distracted.
Suddenly, a brand new turquoise car appeared in front of us. Loud music was blaring from the car. The driver was driving it like a maniac. The car was moving with a lot of speed.
Recognition broke all over Drew's face. "I was actually trying to find that." He pointed at the turquoise car in front of us with his eyes.
I looked ahead, confused. Who exactly was driving that car?
I strained my eyes to see clearer. There were two figures in the front seats of the car. That's when I noticed her perfect blond hair and her perfect smile. His perfect teeth and face.Anger rose within me. Obviously, it had to be them. Who else could it be?
Jeremy and Rebecca sat in the turquoise car.
But I thought Jeremy didn't have a car if his own. Might be his parents'. But the way he was treating the beautiful new car made me get goosebumps. That car will surely have a scratch today.
"Can you tell your best friend to give his car a rest." I said over the sound of the wind roaring.
"He won't listen. I knew he would be doing this. He's kind of in a bad mood." Drew replied.
I rolled my eyes. Some temper he has.
Both Drew and I concentrated back ahead only to witness something much worse than a scratch.
Jeremy finally lost control. The car moved right and left and wobbled. It's tyres made an unpleasant screeching sound. Then the car took a sharp turn and crashed against a broad strong pillar.
I stared ahead with horror. I pulled my own brakes to stop my bike from crashing into his car. My bike stopped abruptly which made me jerk forward. Drew stopped a few inches away from the accident scene. His car door flew open and he stepped outside.
"Jeremy." He said worriedly and walked towards the turquoise car hastily. As if a lot of commotion hadn't already been made, another old looking car stopped on the other side of Jeremy's car.
Rebecca's window was down and I heard her curse. Colour left Jeremy's face.
