Because Maria's auntie arrived late at night to fetch the twins, Seung Min and I were dismissed at around ten. I headed into the bathroom and thought about the twins, and felt thankful that my own brother was obidient. I turned on the tap and let the warm water splash against my index finger which had wrinkled up from bathing the twins with Seung Min earlier in the evening. Instantly, I wore an idiotic smile, reminiscing to the memory. Bending my back, I brought my cupped hands under the running tap and splashed my face with the warmth. As I was doing so, I swore I  heard the sound of my phone notifying me on a Facebook message. I turned off the tap, patted my face slightly dry with the face towel and headed back into my room. On the phone screen was a message sent from Seung Min: "My fingers are still wrinkly from before >_<"

After chuckling in response, I replied: "You're right next door and you're using Facebook to contact me rn??"

In a few moments he replied: " pls...I don't have the time rn to be visiting you xD don't forget practice tmr btw"

After a few more messages, I realised the conversation was going no where, so I ended it with a good night. I put my phone down and quickly tucked myself into bed, curling myself up to keep myself from the cold room. Just as I reached my hand out to switch the bedside lamp off, the framed photo of Jenna caught my attention. I stared at the photo for a few seconds,  not believing how long it had been without her. A lot had happened actually, and I had only noticed. I imagined what my situation would've been like if she was around. She would've obviously been enthusiastic and definitely excited about everything happening at the moment; from B1A4 to a Korean living under the same roof as me; she would've gone crazy. "I miss you."

A substitute teacher had been admitted to take over our Maths class for the day and everyone was just about done with the yawn-worthy session already. My phone vibrated in my pocket, grabbing my full attention instantly. Before I could even reach into my pocket, I scanned the room to see if anyone was looking my way, especially the teacher who fortunately had her back towards the class. With the opportunity, I reached into my pocket and rolled my eyes down to find that Baro had sent me a text. I lowered my head to take a better look at the text.

"Miss Tan." The teacher's stern voice made me jump in my chair.

I shot my head up in shock and embarrassment, as the whole class casted their attention to me. Taking slow and torturous steps, the substitute teacher approached me and found my hand holding onto my phone under the table. She held out her palm, giving me the message that she was going to confiscate my phone. I exhaled deeply and handed the phone over to her. She walked back to her desk and slipped my phone into the top drawer, as she glared right into my soul. "Pay attention, Miss Tan!"

Seung Min turned his head with a curious and surprised look. I shrugged as a response and continued doodling on the very last page of my textbook.

I figured that day dreaming and thinking about things that weren't school related helped the clock tick faster. Until the end of the session I imagined of what the text would've been about. The bell end-of-school rang violently and the whole class rushed out in a pack, joining the ocean of people outside. The teacher handed my phone back with a bonus short lecture. After that, I left the class and noticed Seung Min, his back against the wall as he attentively was busy in his phone.

"Ready to go?" I interrupted him kindly, whilst unlocking my phone to check the text.

Seung Min nodded, pushing himself off the wall then caught up beside me with his eyes still fixed on his phone's screen as we began to walk to the studio. I couldn't blame him for being so antisocial, as I myself was busy with my phone. Speaking of which, I impatiently opened the message from Baro, asking if I was free at the moment. Before replying with a 'yes', I remembered that I was on my way to practice for the dance assignment with Seung Min. And so sadly, I replied 'no' with my reason.

"So what was the phone incident all about?" Seung Min spoke up, which I heard as a mumble.

I shrugged and stuffed my phone in my jacket's pocket. "Baro sent me a text in class, asking if I was busy."

"So..." Seung Min lost his attention on his phone, as he turned his attention on to what I was about to say next.

I turned to him and gave him a blank look. "I told him no, because of practice."

The sudden grin Seung Min wore was brought to my attention. I chuckled with a scoff. "What?"

Seung Min kept his hands in his pockets and caught up with my steady walking pace and let his grin remain. "You chose practice over a possible date with a k-pop star, hm?"

I nearly choked when he mentioned 'k-pop star'. It hadn't hit me yet - that Baro was indeed a k-pop star; in fact, my favourite k-pop star. But then I realised that all the time spent with him, getting to know the real him better made the title 'k-pop star' unrealistic.

"Anna?"

"Hm?" I hesitantly responded to Seung Min's call.

He chuckled and stopped in front of the studio doors before pushing them open and allowing ourselves in. We discussed school, k-pop, culture differences and the dance assignment/performance as we stretched and warmed up before practising for the big day.

We had successfully coooerated well to learn the next few parts of the choreography, leaving us one-third left to learn. Like every other practice, we ended by collapsing onto the floor. The sound of the slaps of our sweaty bodies hitting the floor echoed through the studio. Laying still for a few moments, we breathed heavily out of sync.

"H-hey," Seung Min managed his words in between huffs, "why don't we go get drinks at a cafe nearby?"

I nodded tirelessly, huffing as well. "Sounds great."

With that, we both managed to pick ourselves up and pack everything up. Just as Seung Min pulled the door open, a gush of wind violently welcomed itself into the room. Not only was it windy, there was also rain pouring down quite friendly, but we couldn't tell if it was just going to get worse.

"Agh...screw the plan." Seung Min lowered his head disappointedly.

"Another time. Let's just try and get home in this rain." I said.

With the determination to get home and find comfort, Seung Min and I sprinted in the pouring rain. I knew the consequences of getting drenched, but we were able to have a good laugh through out the whole journey back home.

Once we arrived back at the familiar front porch of home, we stopped ourselves to catch our breaths. Seung Min had already recovered and was looking through the contents in his bag. He halted and pulled his head out of his bag. "I don't think I have my keys."

I was bound to have my keys. Like Seung Min did, I searched my bag and pockets, and it turned out I hadn't brought my keys with me either. No one else was at home - dad was going to return home in the evening and mum took Warren to the dentist dentist, which always took a while.

So our situation was us sitting under the porch's verandah, on the ground. We shared my lunch which were two peanut butter sandwiches that I hadn't had earlier during the day at school. Along with our little afternoon tea, we played a few non-physical games that would save of hearts and lungs after the hardcore dance practice and the marathon in the rain from school to home. I actually preferred this over having a drink at a cafe. Watching the rain was nice enough. The bread of my sandwich was still fluffy enough for my liking. Seung Min and I were still able to have a few laughs and smiles; and I realised that that was all contently enough.
