Chapter 18

Being someone who actually does house chores, I was generous enough to fold the boys' clothes that had been dumped and scrambled everywhere on the floor. It was horrifying to see anyways; so you could say I was doing myself a favour too.

"I don't know why I haven't thought about it," Jinyoung said to me, "but why are you on holiday during school commences?"

"We were given a study week for our exam coming soon." I explained, folding a blue polo shirt.

"Why aren't you studying then?" he smartly asked.

I paused my progression as I looked at him. "My mum's a teacher and she's going to tutor me non-stop from the day I get back home."

Jinyoung nodded his head as he poked out his bottom lip. "Anywho, we're going to be having a small meeting with our manager soon and he wants to see you."

I nodded my head as a sign of approval. Coming across the last batch of underwear, I pulled an disgusted look. Jinyoung noticed the garments in the basket and chuckled.

"Here, I'll do those." he offered, filling in my place. I gave him a thankful smile as I walked to the kitchen to have a drink of water.

"Guys, be quick!" Gongchan called out as he hopped on one leg while putting a sock on the other.

"Were gonna be late!" Sanduel complained as he opened the front door. Jinyoung and I exchanged bummed looks then followed the four boys.

The boys and I walked into an office-like building which was placed in a quiet suburb. Passing through the corridor, I examined the boring place that had a lot of blinded windows and plain doors in the corridor.

"This room."Jinyoung softly spoke as he opened the door.

In the room was an older looking Asian man who looked around forty to fifty years old. He stood in the room with his arms folded as if he had been in that position for a day or two.

"You know I don't like people arriving late." he coldy complained. The boys bowed and I figured that I should've done the same.

The man gave dirty looks to all of them before breaking into a gradual chuckle. "It's good to have you boys back."

They let out a relieved sigh and bowed to the older.

"This is Anna." Baro introduced. I awkwardly bowed to the older.

He held out his hand and put on a warm smile. "Nice to meet you, I'm B1A4's manager."

I nodded my head, sendng him a smile.

The manager ordered us to take a seat around the large table that took up most of the space in the room.

"So, I heard you had volenteered to be Baro's girlfriend." he pointed out as he moved around in his seat. My cheeks slightly fired up when he mentioned 'girlfriend'.

"I wouldn't say 'volunteered'." I truthfully admitted. He let out a loud laugh as the boys exchanged amused looks.

"Speaking of that, we had been given a big offer to escape our financial crisis." the manager said as he gradually settled down.

The boys leaned in closer with looks of high interest.

"JC wants to shoot an exclusive interview with Baro and Anna on their 'relationship'" he explained.

The boys' eyebrows were raised and their jaws fell to the ground. I was pretty shocked myself as I'd watched some of JC's shows. He was one of Korea's famous interviewers who had interviewed almost all Korean stars.
