Chapter 8

"All the heavens, shout your name..." the church sang to the chorus of a hymn.

"Your a singer, you should sing more confident!" I whispered to Baro as I nudged him.

He eyed me as he turned up his volume. People started to look our way. I nudged him again, signalling him to quieten down.

"I learnt a lot!" CNU said as the other boys nodded ther heads.

"Thats good!" mum said, patting CNU's back.

"Is it okay if I bring Anna out somewhere else with me?" Baro asked dad in a mature tone.

"As long as you take good care of her!" he replied as he grinned at the both of us.

Baro thanked him and we both jumped into his ferarri.

"The plan starts now!" Baro said as he revved up the engine.

I smiled, thinking of all the fun things we could do, despite the fact that we were only doing this whole thing for the sake of the public.

"I see a lot of couples go for strolls at the parks and stuff." I suggested.

Baro raised his eyebrows and poked his bottom lip out to show that it wasn't a bad idea.

Minutes after driving here and there, Baro parked his Ferrari in a park's parking space.

I got out of the car with sweaty hands. I wiped them on my dress and breathed.

"Let's do this!" he smiled as we braced ourselves.

We walked close to eachother around the park. The park wasn't very enclosed. There was a playground in the middle containing swings, slides, spinning things and things to climb on.

Baro then pointed out towards my right. Within seconds, a paparazzi came zooming towards us; then another, and another.

I took the risk of holding his hand. For the sake of the public, for the sake of the public, I thought.

Baro looked down at our hands connected together, then smiled at me, looking straight in my eyes. We continued walking slowly towards cameras, one step at a time. There had cone a time where I had leaned my head on his shoulder and also when he wrapped an arm around me. It was definitely one of my most favourite days of my life.

"How did it go?" Jinyoung asked us as we arrived at the boys' hotel.

Their hotel was a pretty goof size for five boys. The flooring was wood, they had bigs windows capturing the view of buildings and the rest was dazzling.

"I say it went well, don't you?" Baro answered and asked me.

"I think we really did well!" I said, thinking back on holding hands.

"Theres more to do though!" Sanduel reminded.

I seriously didn't mind at all.

I toured around their place as they cooked two minute noodles in the kitchen. I madet way into the boys' room, curious about what they got up to. I recognized Baro's bed, all messy with all his SnapBack hats. Then, I realized a picture of a familiar face stuck next to his bed. It was Suzy of Miss A.

"You like her?" I said slowly when Baro walked in.

"Uhh..no, it's just.."

"You don't need to answer that! She's beautiful though!" I said, waiting for his response.

"I used to like her, but I- I don't now, I guess.." Baro hesitated, looking unsure.

I laughed as I continued my little tour. They all had cute plushy toys sitting on their bunk beds. I noticed Gongchan's bed was the tidiest put of all.

"Dinner's ready!" Jinyoung called.

I raced out the bedroom door before Baro did.

"Mmm.. two minute noodles are the best!" a hungry CNU commented.

We all slurred up our noodles, making soup droplets on the glass table.

"You all eat so messy!" Gongchan snapped.

We all lifted our hands up, exchanging eachother 'that wasn't me' looks.

I noticed Baro seemed a little down. What couldve possibly made him sad? Was it me? Did I do something wrong?
